Knobby Texture Chewy Tube Green, 2 Pack

We bought this product 11/2018. It lasted until June/2019. This one is pretty durable compared to other brands that shredded within 24 hours. If they took off the ends of may have lasted longer (see photo). Also making it all bumpy like the bottom part would help it last as the rubber is harder on that part. My son is autistic and chews up everything so it served its purpose.

I have tried many different chew items - various kinds of necklaces and toys for my four year old, but he was never interested in any of them beyond the initial five minutes.However, these are amazing! He has four of them and he never tires of them. I love it that he chews on these all the time instead of chewing and damaging his regular toys or shirts. He is now five years old and I am still surprised that he uses these all the time but none of the other chew items that I have ever bought for him.I rarely leave a review but I’m so impressed with these I thought sharing my experience might help other parents who are still searching for a durable chew item that holds a child’s interest.

I was shopping around for these as my sensory kiddo (nearly four) has been chewing/biting again recently. I went back and forth and settled on this one because I thought there were 3 like in the picture but didn’t read far enough to see that it’s just a two pack for $16. Figured if he didn’t like it his teething little sister could use them and a three pack for that price made sense. Opened them up anyway but I should have just returned them. I like that they are made in the US but I get sick of buying things that don’t work. He walked off with it in his mouth and blowing it like a whistle then set it down and said he didn’t like it. So if noise is a concern for your sensory kid you may want to keep searching. I’ll update if he changes his mind and tries it again and it magically solves the biting. Sister with speech delay chewed it for a minute then pushed it away.

I'm an autistic adult who ordered these for myself. They're a good size even for a grown person's jaw and are very durable. I especially like the texture.My only complaint is they make a squeaking sound when chewed. Might sound like no big deal, but to an autistic person or someone with SPD, this can be very problematic. If sound is a concern for you, skip this and go for the "No Gloom Shroom" by Stimtastic.

My 11yo son loves these... if you've got a kid who likes to gnaw on anything and everything, this is a great alternative. They're incredibly sturdy and last quite a while. The first set was over two years old... he finally chewed through them. OF COURSE, if you have a very young child, be sure to keep an eye on them while chewing on this... both my boys got these as stocking stuffers when they were about 6 years old. These are big enough and the shape makes it nearly impossible to swallow, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility...

My 3.5 year-old son would best be described as a 'sensory kid'. He definitely has a few sensory issues, but is still a happy, healthy, perfectly normal child. We bought these and first gave it to him, he wouldn't touch it. And then when he did, he tried to use them like a hammer. Fast-forward a couple of months and then all of a sudden, without us prompting, he picked up and began to gnaw on it. He'll chew on it for a while and then put it down. I guess it's just something he needs to bite down on for a while, to relieve stress (?) and then he's alright.We bought other chew noodles and he didn't really take to them. This is the only one he really seems to like.

We recently bought these for my two-year-old son, who is autistic and bites himself at night for self-soothing. The bite marks had been increasingly getting worse, and his therapist recommending finding a chewy toy, so we bought these. They are fantastic! While they're a little smaller than I had anticipated, they turned out to be the perfect size for him. Not only are they easy to wash and are great for easing his sensory needs, they are extremely durable. I'd gladly purchase this item again.

For us these are worth the cost. Our 4 1/2 year old daughter has an oral fixation when she is feeling stressed out, nervous or anxious. She had one of these T’s and would chew the heck out of it to cause the squeaking sound. Eventually, that became lost so we brought them back in a two pack. We have been through several different types of chewing toys. These are very durable, high quality, easy to clean and worth the cost!
