I received this set as a gift from my friend and I loved it so much that I bought another one while it's available. At first I wasn't sure if I liked this a bit unusual design with the curvature on the handle and a sharp edge of it. But then I found that it provides quite comfortable rest for the finger, or even two fingers depending on how you like to hold them. The scissors are very sharp and not too tight, which is always very important to me.When we buy scissors online, it's good to see what they look like in hand, but the sellers don't often provide those pictures. So I did. I hope you will find this helpful. My hands are average size S/M. The thimble in this kit is a bit heavy and too large for my finger but the awl is very nice.Overall I highly recommend this kit!

I love this little set .Scissors very sharp and I love the needle case the bodkin is perfect for threading either elastic or ribbon into the casings, a lot of people think that it’s a big needle it’s not a needle the big eyed needle looking thing is called a bodkin,Before zippers or safety pins were invented clothes clothing had casings to close up neck opening, waist bands and I saw where many People who had purchased this did not know if this needle was for I really like this little set

The scissor is very chunky, it’s not light at all. It does cut very well though. The pointy tweezer is very good too. The rest of the products are oxidized on the inside and have a bad smell and leave your fingers with the odor too. If you don’t mind the odor you will be fine. They seem to work really great. For the money the value is really good I think but you’re not getting anything fancy. Had I known about the odor and how chunky the scissors would be I would not have bought it though.

Not quite sure what the quality of these little scissors would be, but they did not disappoint. They are great quality, sharp and cut easily. The ornate design is truly beautiful. They shipped fast and the price is very fair. Very pleased all around.

These have a nice weight, the scissors needed a quick sharpen, but they took it well and are good and sharp now. The patina is a little uneven, but they look pretty good.The needle case was a little short for the use I intended, I was going to use it to hold darning needles for weaving ends in on knitted projected and my favorite type are too long for this case.The thimble fits okay, and the bodkin is very pretty. The awl is super sharp but it did have a little residue on it; that came right up with an alcohol wipe.The case is a just a cheap plastic box and some bubble wrap. I was hoping for a foam padded tin like I've seen elsewhere. But this one was a good price and came next day after ordering.Overall I'm happy with the set, a little disappointed the case isn't better, but I got what I set out to get.
