Cool book, but you need to be careful to explain to your child that the aliens within it do not actually exist. The way in which this book is written can easily make it seem to a child that these are real creatures.

Imaginative child's book with lots of delightfully weird art. The text and science behind the art is an interesting mix of science and imagination with a real effort at believability . Just thought provoking enough to make the reader stop and wonder a bit without creating nightmarish, deliberately ugly monsters.

Great for kids with imagination and interest in science overall, my daughter asked me a lot about the book and I end it up explaining her about the Scientific method and statistics, not an expert but at least she knows those things exist.

This was recommended tome by the author for my 10 year old grandson. He loved it and do do his mother and father!!!

Fun, but not as well-reasoned or creative as I had hoped. The art was terrible.

My grandson loved this book. He read the whole book as soon as he got it. I am very pleased with the purchase of this book.

My 9 year old is a space nut...he loves this book. Gets his imagination going.
