GOOD CONCEPT, BUT DOESN'T WORK WELL ON SMALL RECLINERS
I have a small bedroom where between the bed, small recliner, and dresser, there isn't any room to add even a small end table; I thought this might be the answer to my problem where to put my drink, remote and other items instead of trying to balance them on the windowsill or on top of the window air conditioner.I really liked the concept, but overall it just didn't work for me. The table on top is wobbly on the smaller arms of my recliner because it is wider than the arms. As shown in the staged item picture, it is resting on a slim arm chair, but it is well balanced and full. I have no doubt in my mind that if one or two items were to be removed from the Organizer it would become unbalanced and tip enough to spill drinks or your snack. I tried putting as much as I could in the side pockets, and then added my drink. I saw that the pockets were too long and rested on top of the seat so I tried to be careful when sitting down; unfortunately my weight on the seat was enough to cause the pockets to shift down and the Organizer tipped to the side and I almost lost my drink if I hadn't grabbed it in time. I guess I could Velcro it to the arm rest for stability, but the overall product just didn't fit well in a smaller recliner. It was also in the way when I tried to get up, with the pockets catching on my clothes and again tilting the Organizer.I offered the item to my sister and brother-in-law who have much larger recliners in the family room, but since they have side tables next to their chairs, they felt it was redundant for their use. It did fit better on their chairs which have wide arms and I could see it being used with larger recliners, but it would still be awkward and in the way if you need the armrests to help push yourself out of the chair (like I do). So, it is sitting in a box waiting for my sister to take it to work to see if she can find a home for it.

Not functional for me.
The product is made OK, but it is not functional for me. I thought the tabletop would be a good idea, but it is made like a box with a lip all around it. This doesn't work if you want to use it as a writing top with a pen and pad. And I found it difficult to use for a drink and popcorn. There is no place to put your arm on top of the armrest of the chair. As you sit in the chair, with your arm next to your body, you can't lift your arm up to reach for the drink, as it always gets "stuck" on the lip of the tabletop. I hope this is clear. I didn't return it, just too much postage. I'll use it for a grab bag gift. I purchased one without the tabletop and find it more functional. I can get my arm back on the arm part of the chair.

Flimsy table top tray solution found!
A classic example of a good idea gone somewhat bad. The tray is very flimsy, the only way it would stay stable is to use a flat armed chair/sofa/recliner.So I went over to the Dollar Tree and got a sheet of 1/4 inch poster board. Quickly cut three identically sized rectangles with my box cutters, to match the tray. Smeared on the Elmers, slapped the three together, and Voila! I had a 3/4 inch poster board tray, which is quick stable on my round arm recliner. Steady enough for my 22 oz latte mug and a plate.Unlike others I have not had a problem with the unit slipping to one side, but think it might be because of my flat top solution.

Perfect for Nursing Home
Really, this is much much better than I thought it would be. It holds a lot and the pockets are just as sturdy as pictured. The top has a little (not firm) lip around it....and...it works "somewhat" 1. It DOES keep pens/pencils & cell phone in place. Which is what I bought it for. 2. Do NOT attempt to put drinks or anything that will spill...It WILL spill! It does Not stay in place on the top of the furniture arm.I fixed this by getting two-sided Velcro strips & velcro'ed it to the arm...works good enough.I would buy this again...Grandma Loves it and everyone else wants one now.

Room for improvement
It fits my extra wide sofa arm easily. My one beef with the product is the "floppy" pockets. There is no elastic or any support for the pockets so they don't hold things like pictured in the listing. Also, for a reason I simply can NOT understand, the dividers between the pockets don't go all the way to the bottom of the pocket. So stuff slips under the divider between pockets. Not a bad product for the price, but LOTS of room for improvement!

Good value and a great solution for holding 'things'
We always struggled to place our things in a place that wouldn't get knocked over or misplaced by our 2 year old so we purchased this arm rest organizer. It holds our remote controls and cups of coffee, water and snacks. We would recommend securing it with velcro or something similar for times when you heavy load the outer pouch it falls to the ground. The look and feel also blends in and doesn't cheapen the aesthetic of our living room.

Construction is good. The flat surface on top is a bit ...
Construction is good. The flat surface on top is a bit more flexible than I hoped but still usable. I wouldn't put a drink on it but otherwise its fine. There was a problem with shipping but I'm certain it was USPS fault. The seller sent a replacement 2 day. Overall a decent product and good service

It's okay
It's okay but not as sturdy as I wanted. I don't really trust setting a glass on it. The top is only piece of some sort of cardboard that is covered in this fabric. Maybe if I had a square arm on my sofa it would be better, but I don't and wouldn't buy it again. I use it but it slides a lot.
