Transcend 32GB JetFlash 790 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Flash Drive (USB Stick) Black with Frustration Free Packaging TS32GJF790KBE

I've been using Transcend flash drives for years because I prefer the push-button design, I've never had one fail on me, and they are priced well. The only reason I've replaced them is that as time goes on, greater capacity is needed.There has recently been a lot of publicity about some computers being supplied with malware installed that send comprehensive personal data to some third party. So I ordered this one to load with security programs, so I can run malware detectors before connecting new devices to my network or the internet.This one claims a 32GB capacity, and my computer measures it at over 30.5GB (see picture). Worth every penny - Recommended!

Needed a memory stick to record TV and it does the job wanderfully.

If you test this drive on crystal diskmark it looks great with 110 read and 70 write. But in the real world it is absolutly awful.The speed is so erratic, It starts off fast for about 2 seconds then just constantly jumps down to 24 then down to zero then upto 5 etc etc but never goes above 25. So do not rely on synthetic benchmarks with this stick.,I didnt give it 1 star just because of the low price. I think you are better off with a usb 2.0 stick than this.

Without a doubt the 32gb usb stick from Transcend is the slowest worst usb stick I've ever purchased and I'd never purchase again which surprised me as speed was always adequate on transcend products that I've purchased in the past. It just took half an hour to transfer 11gb of data onto this one which is rubbish as I've got other usb sticks and it usually takes around a minute to tranfer that amount. This USB stick is rubbish.

This memory stick 3.1 is extremely slow. Even slower than 2.0.

In gebruik als flash-drive voor een UNRAID server. Werkt prima, geen problemen mee, zoals verwacht. Gewoon goede USB Stick zonder poespas.

Remplace une clé usb Kingston datatraveler G4 qui était lente en écriture (qui plus est, deux de ces clés sont tombées en panne d'écriture en deux ans !). Cette clé transcend est nettement plus rapide. J'espère qu'elle sera plus durable que les datatraveler car sinon les clés usb ce sera fini !

Transcend jetflash 790 32go. Les performances sont conformes aux commentaires lus. Lecture séquentielle stable à 110mo/s, en revanche l'écriture séquentielle met un évidence un yoyo du débit, autour d'une moyenne de 20mo/s.Donc pas très performant en écriture, mais c'est le prix qui en fait l'attrait.
