I bought these planks as a gift for my sister and something told me to open them to check and I am glad I did. The items in the box were not planks, but just randomly cut random parts of what looked like fence boards. The stamp of CEDAR ALPHA was rubbed off most of the planks, the edges were not professional cut, but looks like someone broke a fence board in parts and stamped CEDAR ALPHA on it. The planks had splinters all over it and splinters of wood all over the place.

My husband and I love grilling on cedar planks, and thought these would be a good deal. We will try them, but they don’t smell much of cedar, and two of them are cracked. Will try somewhere else next time.
