Seems like a great product, documentation is horrible
Edit at 2 months: I really do love this thing. Still not good enough on it to take it off pavement and onto trails (wear good pads, BTW)... You WILL beat the crap out of this if you don't get a cover. I didn't get a cover and I just have to accept what I've done to it. Badges of honor, right? The documentation gap mentioned originally (below) may yet be a problem, but this thing is DURABLE. Also, Reddit groups have helped me quite a bit, so take advantage of the online community, where you'll learn about things like battery maintenance, power pads, and expectations for progress. I'm raising my opinion of this wheel from a 3 to a 4 and really would give it a 5 if not for the terrible docs and weird labeling.(Original)First of all, I love this wheel so far. I'm not very good at it and I'm totally new to this hobby, which makes the terrible documentation and app both stand out like a sore thumb. I feel like I'm left to learn this thing completely by myself, but I will. I do NOT have any confidence that I'll be well taken care of if I have a warranty problem though. Time will tell. I may update this at a future date, but do be warned, if a user manual and a good control app is important to you, you'll want to weigh the pros and cons carefully.I was determined to get this level of EUC anyway though. You can't beat the convenience of buying this particular one on Amazon.

Great quality
It works exactly as advertised and I see no issues within the first year of using it.

Good learning wheel. Will also work long term.
This is my first electric unicycle. I bought it knowing I have pretty good balance. Even so the learning curve has been kinda steep. I am about a week into practicing and just now working on turning and getting on it reliably. That said while the curve is steep it doesn't seem undoable. Again I am starting from a really good baseline balance. If your balance and leg/pelvis control isn't already good, it may be harder. Some things to note. I'm pretty short at 5'5" and I'm all torso. I also wear completely flat shoes with no padding. The wheel is larger than I expected and comes up to my knees when I stand straight. It's not impossible but I feel like this hampers my leverage a little. Tilting the pedals 8° heel up has helped with that. You want to ride with your knees slightly bent so it's a bit of a beast for me. Again, perfectly doable. At just over 180lbs it handles my weight like a champ and gives me no problems on rough asphalt where I am practicing. I picked it specifically because it had a lot of leeway in the max weight.I have scuffed up the underside of the pedals a bit being overaggressive in my attempts to turn (and failing). I don't care a lot about that but if you're big on appearances maybe start with something cheaper. The app works really well with my Pixel 3aXL but it doesn't want to stay connected to my Samsung Galaxy S22+ for some reason. I don't know if that's the app or the phone or the app on that phone. I don't like the social media aspect to the app but it seems like everything is a social media these days. The software limits on speed have been helpful. I capped it at 7mph for learning purposes and an going to practice pushing that because when it corrected me the one time it slowed down, it threw me off a bit.I like it. For me it's a good first wheel. Probably will be a long term wheel for me as well. If you are concerned about appearances and scuffs definitely start with something cheaper because the learning curve is high but never feels undoable.

Ordered and waited and it was used, defective and serial number was already registered!
Bought this because my friend taught me how to ride it. I get it, open box and the thing doesn’t turn on. I did everything, fromYouTube to plugging in and leaving. Then noticed the used marks on it. They sent me a defective unit that was used. Spent nearly 2k for a used product… and now I have to pack it up and return it and wait another weeks time to get it. Shame on the manufacture for this. We deserve better as consumers

Love it
this is Amazingly fun, I have nearly 2k miles on it 3 months (took me a year to get 1k on my ebike)I am 66 and was never really a scatter, the range is about 30 miles which I have used every bit of with just enough left to get home, looking to buy my next bigger better EUC and keep this one as a spare and loaner for friends that want to ride

It’s very difficult to learn it.
I’m returning this item. Not worth for getting injured and wasting time learning this crap.

Nice wheel to learn on
This a good all around wheel. I beat this wheel up when I was learning, so get a cover to keep it from getting it from getting scratched up to much. My wife is learning how to ride and she beats it up too; this wheel durable, but not impervious. Oh! I bought the power pads which are good and help protect the wheel. I ride a Tesla T3 now, but when I can get it from her, I still enjoy riding the V10F.
