Kittycentric Cozy Cat Cave Bed - Handmade 100% Wool, Large (Brown/Cream)

My cat barely let me get it out of the box before he was exploring (seeattached pic!). He goes in the cave several times a day. I don't know if hegoes in there at night when we are sleeping, but I suspect that he does.He loved the bonus toy and chased it around for an hour the very first day. Ithas become his favorite toy! I received the two Cozy Cat Caves and within minutes there was a cat fight as to who owned which one. I have seven cats. Some cats preferred the “dishbowl” configuration, some the “cat cave,” but either way, Cozy Cat Caves Rule in the cat world. I have a Maine Coon who is not overweight but Big, and is a fan of the cat cave. I place them on top of a cat tree and they are filled in seconds. Put them on a chair…same thing. They are easy to clean with a brush and mild soap. The design is incredible. They resemble huge seed pods, and the white around the openings adds a nice touch. I bought my sister two for her cats and she had the same result. Curiosity. Invasion. Ownership. My sister and I are very pleased with the product. An added plus was the toy ball, which disappeared into the alternate universe where cats hide their stuff. These pods were designed by people who know cats.

my kitty loves it! i put the cave on the side of my desk. my cat always jump up and get in the cave while i'm working.initially he didn't wanted to go in so i sprinkled little bit of catnip and my cat start to just roll and purr in side of the cave. now it's his best hiding spot at home.my cat is pretty big. he is 18-19 lbs. i was worry that i might not fit but it's pretty spacious inside. my cat can lay down and roll a round.highly recommend this to anyone who has a cat.

This is a lovely item regardless of rate of cat adoption. The felt is thick and the cave is quite attractive as pet beds go. I like that is a natural fiber in a neutral color and isn’t off gassing into my home. I thought my cold natured senior cat might like the cave but he demurred. Before I could work out the creases and remove the tag the cave was claimed by the feisty calico and I have seen nothing but the tips of her ears ever since. Maybe the German Shepherd will be allowed to have his bed back.

Beautifully made, our third Cat Cave! Arrived exactly as pictured, great workmanship and thick, plush wool felting. Our cats are 16 &18 Lb Maine Coons and they fit comfortably in the size Large Cave (one at a time!). The opening is big enough for them to dive through but still provides privacy and security. It's very accommodating to the changing preferences of cats, as they can easily collapse it into a cozy round bowl-bed which is the usual end use in our house. Periodic opening back into the cave mode with toys inside to fish out provides great entertainment and exercise as well!

My cats (and small dog) LOVE their cat cave!! If I can't find one of the cats I know where to look. They enjoy playing hide 'n seek as week as snuggling down in the very comfortable and cozy bed. My dog doesn't go in but likes to wallow on top. This product is very well made and aesthetically pleasing. It is soft but sturdy. It is capable of collapsing down to be used externally but also maintains it's shape for use as a cozy cave. I have recommended to both my mother and daughter for their cats. I have a large and wondering if they can be made a bit larger with a larger opening for those larger feline family members.

Beautiful cat cave but my cat won't use it, he went in it once for a brief period of time. He's an 18 lb part Maine Coon with very thick fur, we bought the large size but we're thinking since we live in Texas and it's made of wool that it was too warm for him. Maybe when the weather cools down a bit hopefully he'll use it, otherwise it was a slightly expensive conversation piece.
