This was much cheaper than paying for a professional installation. Easier than I expected.
I noticed a crack in my garage floor that was happening because, the seal below on my garage was failing. And the water was eroding some of the foundation below my concrete. But when I had a professional contractor estimate it, they literally pitched a number in the thousands. Naturally, I was hesitant to bite of a DIY project that might be over my head; yet, this was way easier than I expected. I was super worried about the fit: I wanted the gasket to be tight (which caused me to lean towards the larger width); but, don't expect this product to squeeze much. I'm glad I triple measured the width of the joint before ordering as 1 & 3/8" is VERY different than 3/4" yet, it can be hard to tell. I used a rubber mallet and then a silicone sealant for good measure. But, this gasket probably wouldn't even need the sealant based on how tightly the flaps fit into the crack. And it looks fantastic. Yes, the cost is higher than other products I looked at, but it looks significantly more durable than the other options on the market. And it's far more effective than just squirting a big ugly pile of foam or caulk into a crack.

product did not appear as in product page
Cross sectional view of product received is not at all similar to pictures on product page which had a much narrower taper. Thus the bottom portion was too wide for the gap in driveway. I tried to force it in without success. The top was the proper size. I scuffed about two feet of 25 foot item so I doubt that they would take it back. 104 + dollars wasted. Went back to product page and there are no specific dimensions of the item. Poor form. Would not recommend.

So Much Easier Than the Alternative
Although I did not buy this through Amazon, this product was amazing. The online video addressed all of my concerns about installation, particularly with regard to my gap ranging from 1/2" to 1". I got the 3/4" and had to cut a little off the bottom flap (with pruning scissors) to adequately fit the tighter spaces. The joint was also not level between the garage floor and driveway, but it covered completely and smoothly. I'm a 60+ year female and had no problem pounding it in with a towel and hammer (couldn't find the mallet). I dreaded having to use the caulk gun at least five times with the messy alternative. I am over the moon happy with this product. The tips, tricks, and clarity of the video was so helpful.

Garbage
This product is absolute rubbish in the half inch wide variety, as it will not conform to anything under 1/2” (which is most often the case with smaller expansion joints) and provides zero resilience in szie-on or slightly wider spots. For the tight spots I tried several workarounds, including lubrication, with absolutely no luck. Total rip-off.So then I moved on to installing the three-quarter inch and 7/8” strips. The installation is nowhere near as simple as shown on the promotional videos. Again there is a real sensitivity to changes in crack width....particularly when the top of the strip nears the top of the crack. I had to use a five pound shot filled mallet to beat on a 3/4” wide drift in order to get this stuff installed. And I mean I had to beat every single inch of that gasket into the cracks. IT WAS BRUTAL!!!So then I tried to get a refund through the manufacturer for the 1/2” material but guess what........turns out they don’t answer their phone and their voicemail won’t take any messages. No doubt there are a lot of dissatisfied and angry customers trying to contact them. Not surprised though, given you pay a small fortune for this garbage.Save yourself a world of pain and anguish and just do foam filler rods and mastic caulking.....waaaaaaaay easier.
