I was looking for a Christmas present for my mum, who is super hard to buy for.I had the idea of a forever rose, came across this.Absolutely beautiful in person, the necklace was a lovely touch too and is also beautiful.She was very impressed with this, as was I.

What a stunning gift at a ridiculously reasonable price!I got this for my other half and she was blown away! The product arrives well packaged and is supplied including an additional gift bag which is a nice little touch (albeit I decided not to use this). The product looks amazing and is effectively a small grey box with a clear Perspex lid with a red rose mounted into the lid. In the base of the box is a small drawer within which is supplied a beautiful looking white metal necklace in the shape of a small heart with clear stones around the edge and a large blue stone in the centre. The metal is listed as Sterling Silver with the stones listed as Zircon. The drawer has a small metal knob for opening it and is lined with a typical jewellery box foam/velvet lined material.The rose is marketed as a “real preserved flower” but I found the listing itself a bit confusing! On the one hand it states it is a “preserved flower” but on the other hand it states “the everlasting rose is made through a special process, but it is not a flower” – well which is it? This needs to be clarified! To be honest, whether it’s a real rose or not, it looks amazing and for me, it doesn’t really matter – just make the information clear for the buyer!The only issue I have with this product is that the box has an inscription on it which I absolutely think shouldn’t be there! The inscription reads “Best Wishes” in large lettering with “A friend is a loving Companion at all times” just underneath it in smaller lettering. I just don’t understand why this is there and really goes against the fact that this is clearly a gift for a partner and “Best Wishes” together with the word “friend” might not be greeted that well by your loved one! I think this would be so much better without the inscription and cannot understand why it is there!This being said, for the money, this is a fantastic looking product which I would definitely recommend but am only giving 4 stars – purely and simply because of that inscription which I think is a real error by the manufacturer!

My wife seemed pretty pleased with it and, after all, that's all that really matters.

This was a 50th birthday gift and she liked it very much. The packaging is beautiful and the necklace is very delicate. Happy with this product.
