Bloody Princess: A Dark Enemies to Lovers College Romance (Sweetest Revenge Book 1)

Lies, Secrets and Death
Well what a scary start with book 1, I was not expecting a unusual back ground from the female character aka Lyric.I’ve read my fair share of dark romances, bully and enemies to lovers etc and what this girl has gone through to be one bad ass killer, I don’t even know how she can be that strong. Her background doesn’t really go into too much detail but you get the idea with a lot and it’s very disturbing so be warned. It’s a slow burner too considering how the guys talk I’d of expected it as soon as Lyric came about lol but saying that the story is hot as hell and I’m so looking forward to what’s to come. But so far this story has got me hooked and there’s so much to look forward to especially with the secrets and mysteries.

I’ve seen this about
And can confirm that it needs more of a hype. I’m loving Lyric and the storyline with the guys. The secrets and families that seem perfect that are built on lies. I’m already downloading book two so I can dive right in

Not bad
Readable but not terribly engaging.I normally read a book this size in 2/3 days I've had this over a week. It's ok, nice to have a tough girl in a storyline, who can actually look after herself if she needs.

Undecided, I’m not sure if I like this or not.
I do like Lyric and Atlas but I’m not sure that I like any of the other characters, the storyline or the possibility of all of them being together. The sexually tension can be cut with a knife, especially between Keats, Atlas and Lyric. I was hoping that Lyric would finally get herself a bestie but that possibility seems to have died rather quickly.

ok
overall it was okay. there was def some triggering themes, it deal with abuse/ talks about rape and scenes of humiliation. which were too much for me, without that i would have liked it much more.SPOILER- the scene where the author vividly describe a memory of the MC where she was stripped in front of guys at the whim of her fathers right hand man and also passing comments on how she was forced into prostitution was too much.

Dragged on.
This has promise but I was so unimpressed with the depth of the whole thing that I was honestly close to just giving up. I felt like it was so unbelievable that Lyric was a trafficked assassin. Too many threads and not enough tension between them.

Not sure how I feel
I'm not actually sure how I feel after reading this book, I loved the plot a girl seeking revenge for her sisters murder has to infiltrate the group of four guys she thinks was responsible, therefore unearthing some secrets along the way. I usually love this kinda trope enemies to lovers but something just felt off but I can't quite put my finger on it, I didn't exactly feel the chemistry between Lyric and 2 of the guys but hopefully in book 2 that'll be explored more, I am going to read book 2 though because the whole mystery aspect has me intrigued.

Loved this!
Loved this so much. From the abuse Lyric has suffered, the secrets and lies, the bullying by the sorority and the whatever the heck is going on with the guys. This is a fantastic read and I can't wait to see where the story goes.
