Violet Glass Inflow Pipe for Aquarium Planted Tank (17mm for 5/8''(16/22mm) tubing)

I like this intake a lot. Surface skimmers take in too many fish and shrimp so I switched to this. If you have shrimp and/or nano fish in the tank you will still probably want to use an intake sponge. It is a bit hard to keep clean.

Looks great in the tank. Seems durable, but haven't really tested it in that sense (not sure you'd really want to). Suction cups are nice and strong. Design is nice and allows for less suction power at the intake, allows for many different shrimp and baby fish to be kept. Taking the tubing off for cleaning is definitely not easy.

Great Quality and company! if your reading negative reviews its most likely because installation didn't go well and broke. Any glass pipes and intakes have to be soaked in hot water for a couple mins prior to installing the hose onto the pipes. It makes the hose more flexible and manageable to get on without force.

Beautiful pipe that will look great in the tank. Just be aware that they are remarkable fragile and will break with the slightest tap against the tank glass. Mine cracked before I ever got a chance to run water through it. It just lightly tapped the tank side.Put it on only when you are ready to finally use it and be extremely careful when removing to clean. The more you touch it, the more likely you will be replacing it.

This is a prety nice inflow pipe for the money. It doesn't feel cheap a looks great in my 60-P. I've taken it out once for a cleaning and didn't have any issues, but care should be taken with any of these glass pipes.I would buy it again.

Give a nice and elegant looks to the tank. After several months there just one problem with algae buildup on the glass and can be seen.

Can’t keep it clean and it became an eyesore in the tank. Stopped using it after 3 weeks.

It’s a bit harder to clean unless u soak it in bleach but other then that it’s been great
