Perfect! I bought this for my brother who has some cognitive impairment and was having trouble watching dvd's on his tv. All that "input select" stuff was getting him stuck sometimes. But he also does't "scan" that well and I needed a dvd player that was clear and big enough for him to see and enjoy the movies he loves.This player is both easy to use, doesn't skip or get hung up, is not confusing to operate and while compact is big enough to enjoy watching a movie on -- at least, that is, for those who are stuck on big screens.He's had it for months now and not one problem or complaint.Best of all, the customer service is prompt, responsive and generous. I contacted customer service before buying the machine because I was concerned if the player and instructions would be easy enough for my brother to manage from the get-go. They were extremely responsive and kind. Then he lost his remote control, which isn't necessary but which he likes a lot, and they helped me solve that problem too.Highly recommend this player.

Very impressed with this portable unit. I bought this for my husband who can no longer read books due to his eyesight. He does books on CD and was very happy with the sound quality and user friendly controls. I hope to borrow it on occasion for watching my DVDs when on vacation. Technology is fast moving making it difficult for us old timers to adjust, but this machine has made that transformation very easy and gives us confidence to learn all the other features it has to offer. The unit arrived on time and with much care from their shipping department. Everything was well protected and arrived in perfect condition. We are very happy and impressed with this purchase.

I've purchased multiple DVD players throughout the years, and the SYNAGY is by far the best of the lot. With exceptional picture and sound, easy-to-understand instructions, and an easy to use remote this DVD player is recommended for anyone who wants or needs one. It is, in fact, more reliable than the DVD program for my laptop. The seller was quick and the product arrived promptly, and in excellent condition.

Love this. I've had mine for about a year now & it still performs well. It is beginning to make some noises at times but that may be due to the daily use it's been through. I will purchase another one when the noise becomes too intrusive. Great color quality & excellent sound quality for a small unit.

Update: My DVD player is still ticking after all this time, and I'm happy about that. But there is one thing I noticed. I have a specific set of DVDs (Living Single, New Detectives, and FBI Files) that won't play all the way though and work normally as it did when I first got it. All the rest of my DVD collections work fine in my power player (as I call it). And I still use it til this day as when I first bought it.Can I just say Synagy wins again. I already have a 9 inch portable DVD player from this company, and it's still ticking. I haven't had a single issue with that one yet. So I decided to choose this brand again because I wanted one with an even bigger screen (this one being the 10 inch). And I am completely pleased with both. I also like the fact that they're completely smooth and quiet. So if I were to recommend a portable brand that's quality while saving some money, it's this brand. Aside from the big brands like Phillips (which I have also in a 7 inch and it's still going too), Sony ect....The sounds is loud and the color on the screen is rich and bright.

This DVD is excellent and is the cheapest I found here, is light, easily portable. Great image and very decent sound.The device arrived one day before I was waiting and works very well and I like being able to turn the screen for ease of viewing. It's also very light!I made a test in the car and works very well, Now I need the Headrest Mount Holder to install in the car.

Great value, battery worked with headphones over 5 hours, very sharp screen and good power alternatives included.

this is the 2nd one purchased. I purchased the first one for my granddaughter that lives with me. We often drive to another state to visit my other granddaughter. We loved it so much that I purchased this second one for my out of state granddaughter for Christmas. They haven't used it yet but am sure they will get lots of use as well. Its great because once you figure out the remote controls you can start the player while driving.
