The product consists of 64 flash cards, a wall chart with the same chinese characters, and an audio CD with spoken chinese.It is a great way to introduce chinese to a child. The flash cards include a picture, the chinese characters, the pinying pronunciation. On the back of the card the words are used in two representative chinese sentences. There is also a guide as to how to write each of the words (the strokes).The illustrations are basic and they seem to work well. I am teaching chinese to my child and she is picking up most of these words.I recommend this product and I have placed an order to purchase the volume 2.

The cards were beyond the quality I was expecting. They are very clear, semi-water resistant, but certainly not tear proof. Order an extra set for when the kids get older. You can teach both English and Chinese with these. Fantastic product.

Not bad; good for what we needed it to be -- something to teach our 24 month old some basic words in Chinese.

Great product, cards are covered and of decent weight. I only wished the company had thought to keep the picture and text on opposite sides of the cards.

My son was very excited for this to come in, yet it arrived without the audio CD and is quite useless without it.

I love these flash cards - great for beginners and comes with a nice poster.

Bought this for our 2 year old. The flashcards are a bit thin which is why it's 4/5 stars for me but otherwise this is a useful tool. The Wall poster gets used often and she enjoys the pictures that help remind her of the word.
