Mitt Flat Iron Travel Pouch, Large Size

I was not happy keeping my curling iron balancing on the top of the side slab of my granite bathroom countertop. I'd then hang the cord over my nearby towel rack. After a couple years of doing this I decided, there has to be a better way. I didn't want to put it under the sink or in a drawer each time. I wanted it handy.I started searching for travel pouches, but I wanted one with a loop, for hanging. I have another zippered one I travel with. I saw this and, for $4.95 as an add-on, how could I lose? It looked a little wider than I needed, but the loop was what I wanted most.It arrived in 2 days and I took it right up and tried it out. It is perfect (if you are still going to hang an object that adds a bit to the clutter, rather than putting it in a drawer!) My towel rack did have a place where I could hang it on the end, but I wanted it back a little bit so I didn't bump into it all the time. So a twist tie through the loop and then around the side bar of the towel rack, and it is perfect.I especially like that you can tuck the cord in the outer pocket. My travel pouch is big and has a double pockets, one for the cord, or I can put it on top of the pocket area. But many that I browsed through here didn't mention a separate pocket for the cord. You don't want to put the cord up to a hot iron. So this is great and even handier, being on the outside. It does look like a potholder mitt, but the fabric is fairly plain and just fine with me.It doesn't zip, which I don't need. You can see from the product picture and the one I'm posting that the handle sticks out. It still should be fine for travel. The description didn't really say, but the lining is metallic, heat-resistant material.For $4.95, I couldn't even buy the materials to make this myself, given it has the special lining. Think about it for home use, as well as travel. It is great! Clutter problem in my bathroom much improved.

It was just okay. Really looked like a glorified hot pad. Took out the hand hot pad I had & the travel pouch was the same size. Says you can put a hot curling iron in the travel pouch but you can also do that with the hand hot pad. The travel pouch is cute.

THIS WOULD BE A BETER PRODUCT IF IT WOULD HAVE A POCKET ON THE OUTSIDE TO HOUSE THE CORD. AS A MATTER OF FACT, I DO NOT EVEN USE IT ANYMORE. I HAD TO WRAP THE CORD AROUND THE MITT, CAUSING THE MITT TO LOOK A MESS.

Purchased this as a gift for my 16 year old daughter, and she loves it. This is a good size pouch that fits a regular size curling iron and its cord. It is heat proof, so its safe to place or put a hot curling iron on or inside it.

It def fits my large Chi straightener and the cord! It isnt the most beautiful piece and does kind of look like an old potholder but its worth the price and does its job. Havent tried getting another tool in the other side as well but im sure it would fit!

I LOVE this! I work overnights doing home health and carry mt flat iron and curling iron with me to work. I love how theres room to fit both of them in one travel pouch and separate outsside pockets on both sides to keep the cords neatly stored! I am generally in a hurry, so ai have to put them away while hot, and this works perfect for that. Also, with the loop at the top of the pouch, I can hang this on the towel bar in thw bathroom for discreet, out of the way storage.

This pouch works as expected. It seems well made and it great for storing my daughter's flat iron. Now if there was just a way to get her to do it so I don't have to go in her bathroom and do it myself when she leaves it out on the counter.

I looked for the felt folded travel holder and couldn't find it so ordered this one. It's okay, but there is no way to secure the cord and it doesn't fold out to securely keep the hot iron off my counter top. The fabric is great, but the design is not. I won't be ordering another one.
