I love this water broom. We just built a new home and the clean up from the contraction dust was easy as could be. The kids are actually having fun helping. I accidentally left feed back regarding a bicycle rack .....sorry..... Thats why I'm submitting a 2nd review. This is a great item !

Be careful picking a large water broom
Left it at three stars just to help people. I am in the pressure washing business. This toolIs meant only to rinse, not necessarily clean. The good: most residential water pressure is between 5-10 gallons per miniute (gpm) output. Thats a good flow sans anyone running a load of laundry, sink or flushing a toilet.Bad: low pressure. 50-80 psi.Result? This is where your expectations need to be set. This will rinse away light dirt. It will not “blow away” caked on dirt. You will have to saturate that first to get it ready to “move”. However if you want to rinse a driveway, sidewalk or large patio/surface it has its “place”.Just remeber, you will also be lugging that garden house around when you do and after you pay out about 50 feet or more of garden house this will become unwieldy. You could try the largest expandable hose as pressure is not your problem. You are only rinsing light dirt, leaves, grass clippings and pebbles. If you are pushing at least 5-6 gom it will do something....if not its a toy for wetting surfaces. Remember for every nozzle you are cutting down flow so at 5gpm with 5 nozzles you are pumping out 1 gpm flow.....picture a 1 gallon jug of water....its taking you 60 seconds to empty it...a little over 2 ounces a second. And you only have 50-80psi pushing it........Answer? Get a smaller broom with no more than 4 nozzles and probably 3. Use an expandable hose unless you have a postage stamp size lot with a small driveway. Trust me on this. If you don’t it will wear many of you out dragging that around. Get someone to manage the hose for you to keep it out of your way. This is the same principal people experience with pressure washers and surface cleaners. They get too large of a surface cleaner for the pressure washer. Beats them to death. If you are buying the home depot/lowes special the simpson 3,200 psi with 2.8 or 3-4gpm is “okay”. Go with an electric and pack a lunch. You will be out there all day. Electrics are great for patios and decks and very small areas or washing cars, bikes, motorcycles and barbecue grills and furniture.Water brooms? 16” max with 4 nozzles garden hose powered. These are exponentially faster with a gas powered pressure washer. Soeaking of which, get one with a Honda ONLY. No Kohler, Briggs, Subaru, chinese knock off of a honda, etc. DON’t DO IT. Hindas are the ONLY motors that start with one pull, for years. Drain the fuel out becore you store them, winterize the pump per manual. Make your life easier.Sorry, tangents. Big wide water brooms work mediocre at best. Just get a smaller one if you don’t want a pressure washer and don’t want to beat yourself up physically.Best wishes.
