The New York Times Crosswords 2017 Day-to-Day Calendar Calendar – Day to Day Calendar, August 9, 2016

I love the Times crossword puzzles and was delighted to order a year of them in calendar format. Unfortunately, the print is so tiny, I had to give up on doing them -- I'm middle-aged and have progressive lenses, but still needed to squint and move the page farther and nearer just to get through one. I like my puzzles challenging but it shouldn't be a challenge just to read them. Please, NYT, come out with a more viewer-friendly version for your older patrons.

Most of the crosswords in the 2017 calendar come from The New York Times puzzles of 2014. For current cultural/political references, just reset your mind back a few years and you'll be fine with this. The answers are on the back of each page. I enjoyed this a lot and zipped through the entire calendar in a matter of weeks. It's a lot of fun to do a few puzzles a day at odd moments!

I get this every year (or, almost every year anyways) and keep it on my desk at work. Consistent in terms of increasing difficulty among other years I've bought, with newer/updated references. Keeps me happy and exercising my brain throughout the year :) Well, Mon-Wed at least, I struggle with Thur-Sun!

Great for those who enjoy crossword puzzles. One a day, from easy (Mon.) to killer (Sat.-Sun.), each week.And answers on back so you don't get stuck indefinitely!

Crossword buffs of any level of expertise will love this. Monday/Tuesday puzzles are easy; Wednesday/Thursday puzzles are harder; and the Friday/Saturday-Sunday puzzles are a challenge. I have bought this item every year for many years. It is an absolute joy to use!

Enough puzzles to keep you for a good while.The difficulty level is varied.The puzzles don't give you the date they were originally published, which would help with some of the clues.

A great item! The puzzles are first rate and the small format is very handy for commuters. I've bought these NYT day-to-day crossword calendars for gifts and they are always welcomed.

Serves my purpose perfectly. Challenging crosswords that are easier each Monday, difficulty increasing daily for the rest of the week. Solutions on the back of each one. Conveniently assembled.

Bought for my father who is a senior. The print is a bit too small for him.
