These are adorable!!! They have a magnet attached to the back of the body, but they also come with these sticky backings you can put on them. I bought two different packs of butterflies (these, and another one linked at the end of this review) and they were both great and I would recommend them equally.I bought them to use on a Lady Gaga concert outfit. I used the sticky backings to make them stick to the mesh skirt I bought (link at the end). By the end of the concert, my friend and I had a bit of a butterfly graveyard at our feet, BUT these weren't made to be stuck on mesh skirts, so I don't think that's anything negative on the product. For the top of my outfit (I bought two mesh tops and now can't remember which one I ended up using, so sorry—no link), I used the butterflies but attached them with small magnets (link at the end) and these worked perfectly and stayed on the whole night.I used the leftover butterflies on other magnetic things throughout my apartment and they've stuck very well! These are beautiful. No two just alike and have multiple sizes. Used in my office and they have been a hit with everyone. They make me smile and that is exactly what I needed.

Very pretty magnets. But don't be fooled by the title "fridge magnets". The magnets on them are tiny. Maybe a quarter inch across. They will hold onto a very small piece of thin paper but that's it. But for decorating a metal surface they're very pretty.

Excellent variety of vivid colors, very attractive. If one can't have the real thing, live butterflies, who can? Than these are a great life-like way to bring butterfly beauty into any decor. Very nice!

They're cute and look really nice. I love the varied sizes and patterns. The magnets are extremely weak though, causing the butterflies to fall, or spin upside-down. If you buy this, you'll need to either replace the magnets, or use sticky stuff to stick them wherever you put them. They definitely wont hold anything up. Really nice looking though; I've gotten a lot of compliments on them.

Super cute! They are not as magnetic as I would like, but they work for the most part and they are adorable!

Had to Send Back. I studied through SO MANY Butterfly kits and colors. They say 3D...so I figured 3D automatically meant they came with double wings - NO they do not. The BEST thing about these Butterflies are they have a magnet in them to stick on your fridge. I sent them back because I wanted 3D Double winged. So I guess it depend on how real you want them to look and how you want to use them. These don't look real, their cute for kids but...not what I had in mind.You have to read "very carefully" to know what your getting. I ordered others after returning these, that were double winged but no magnet, they had a safety pins and or a sticker to apply. So Buyer Beware.

These are lovely. There bright and the magnet is strong.
