Oggi French Press Coffee Maker (12oz)- Borosilicate Glass, Coffee Press, Single Cup French Press, 3 cup Capacity, Olive

I bought two of these, as one arrived with cracked glass and I wasn't able to return it (my shipping problem, not Amazon.) Both were identically made, no QC problems it seems.The plastic frame is perfect because I can put it in the microwave - without the metal plunger! - to heat the water. It's a fast way to heat up just the amount of water you need. The size is just right for me, too, one coffee mug full.The plunger and filter mesh come apart for cleaning just like any other press. The filter mesh isn't as high quality as the high dollar presses, but it hardly seem to matter. And the color reminds me of our avocado green stove we had in the 70s.

Had to replace my favorite French press and thought I would take a chance. It works great! And super cute!! Exactly what I expected.

I really do love this product but I’ve had to buy this 3x’s over in one year. I suppose it’s not made well. I only hand washed it so I’m not sure what the problem is but it would eventually leak with no visible crack to the glass.

EDIT: The replacement is fantastic & is just what I needed. Makes ~12oz of coffee/ loose leaf tea/ herbal coffee (Teecino is my go-to since I'm caffeine-sensitive-- try the Vanilla Nut or Java flavors!).Wash after each use, making sure the filter in particular is clean. The opening of the carafe may be too small to fit your hand inside, so I'd recommend a dish sponge wand with gentle dish soap. Do not use abrasive materials as this will scratch the glass. Let air dry.Original review: Arrived broken. :( Was packaged in a thin, single layer of bubble wrap. Glass shards and tiny pieces of glass went everywhere when I opened the box. Why would anyone ship a glass item with so little protection? Otherwise, it's a perfect size and seems well-made otherwise.

Update 2024.07.15:The screen is not held securely in place. You can test yours by pulling on the edges of the screen near the springs. In some spots you can stretch the screen. That's a point of failure where while pumping the screen can back away becoming too small to hold the pressure and the coffee grinds will shoot up and out onto your table and anything around you. My water was boiled at 212 degrees. Imagine my fear of it spilling on my ipad, its keyboard and my MacBook Pro 16.I took it apart, flip the screen around, then flip that other piece around that is suppose to create pressure on the screen and tighten the thing down as tight as possible. Heat will cause the metal to expand and this will loose its grip on the screen. -I created more pressure on the screen to stop it from changing shape or stretching when I pump.Now the screen stays in place and I can pump all I want. Just tested on the floor and pumped it 20 times and it never threw up. No coffee grains floating around my coffee.That raised my stars higher. Now to check to see if my equipment is okay. I didn't take photos or a video of the mess it caused because of the water temperature and spill on my electronics.Original: ----I gave it a 1 start because the product is costing me money and damaged electronics. Okay, three times it just spilled on my desk while pumping - more than 5 pumps cause this thing to throw up coffee grinds and water all over the place. Also, coffee grinds always end up in my coffee and at the top of the screen.I have a much larger version of this I purchased years ago. My daughter has this size and I love the size.Whatever you do, do not pump this thing near electronics. The pressure build-up twice shot out of this thing and spilled on my MacBook Pro cover (good thing it was closed) and all over my iPad Magic keyboard. Luckly they built the keyboard to handle liquids.That's twice pumping this thing exploded. Other than that, i like it.

I liked it. But the color is wrong.I ordered Blue and got a Gray.

This is so small it looks like a baby toy and it came with no directions

I've had this for a few months now and really enjoy it. I am the only coffee drinker in the house so this size is perfect for me.The design is great. I've even used a regular ground coffee in this (all I had lol) and none of the grounds made it into the cup. It's handwash only but easy to clean plus it's pretty cute too.

My BIG BRAND coffee pot broke not once, but two times... I Decided no more $$$ expensive $$$ coffee machines that wont last! I wanted to find a french press..I love this press!!! Its such a beautiful color - matches my house perfectly.Its a great size for one cup - if you need two cups, you may need to find a bigger size..
