Might work for some tools.
I have an older Tool Shop rotary tool and the shoulder was too narrow on these and the first one slid down the shank with very little pressure so I tried a 2nd one and I thought that one would work. I put in a burr and tightened it down as much as I could and it would still pull out with enough force. When I attempted to push it back down, this one also went past it's shoulders into the shank of the tool. These were a bugger to get back out once they'd gone in so deep.

It isnt easy to find the right size.
It isn't easy to find the right size for my tool but this is perfict and will last me alot longer.

Fit my mastercraft electric die grinder well.
I had 2 electric die grinders and one just died. They were different brands and the collets were not interchangable. Canadian Tire doesnt sell replacements unless you buy a full 300 piece kit (which I did), and i still had issues locking bits tight enough.These collets have the right shaft diameter for my die grinder at 21/128" (0.1625" or 4.13mm approx) and didnt have any problem grabbing a bit and holding on. Im sure this 10 pack will last longer than my die grinder haha

They work
I'm not sure how these compare to others. I'm new to rotary tools and I have destroyed about 1 collet per month. I use the tool as a die grinder on 1/8 inch steel enclosures.
