These beets are very good, and they taste clean.I bought them once on a special deal, just to try them. I was looking for a new brand because the old brand I was buying before is not what it used to be. Then I found that these were grown in India. (Not China!) That's a big plus for me, so I ordered them again.These beets taste good, and most importantly, they taste clean!I eat them for breakfast every day, mixed in with my yogurt, apple and granola.They are also good for adding to recipes when baking. I might even try adding some directly to my homemade granola when I make another batch.Unfortunately I have run out of these beets at the moment because I love them so much. I can hardly wait for my subscription to arrive at the end of the month.

Beets are in the family of superfoods . I can site a lot of information about them here but ,I am not sure if I am allowed to . So in a very short way ,Beets are almost a natural miracle that when you add them to your diet . Helps from brain function to improving immune system to giving energy to reduce inflammation to liver detox . Please do your own research and find out if it will be a perfect add on to your diet . Not everyone is the same and not everyone’s metabolism works the same . But ,all in all beets are the mother natures one of the best gift to us .Having them in a powder form is a wonderful convenience for our super fast faced life . Not everyone able to get them fresh from the produce market and nor how to cook them . There are many forms on the supermarket shelves , but the problem is a lot of the loaded with sugar . That’s quite weird for me to see that for me since , you can even use beet purée as a sweetener alternative thanks to the sugar level it naturally has .When I saw this product I was beyond happy . As I said before ,I love beets . We love to use them as in pickled form . But , I know a lot of pastry artists using them in their creations instead of sugar .This particular product came in 2 bags both weigh 16 oz each . Perfectly packaged . First in a foil bag then in another branded bag . Super fine powder . Like to use them in culinary purposes like making a wonderfully scented , colored and flavored risottos or adding them homemade nondairy milk with strawberries , just to add a bot more color and also nutrition . The possibilities are endless with this product .Do your self a favor and add beets in your diet . Preferably fresh ,including the greens of them . While you can cook the root part ,use the greens for salad or quick sauté and add on to your repertoire.I like this product since it comes in a very hefty amount that will be good for a very long time . And the price is unbeatable . I will buy it over and over again .

This 2-pack set of beet powder provides A LOT of powder! Each package is double sealed to maintain freshness, the powder smells like fresh beets (vs having a chemical or dry smell), and the color is a deep beet red.... great first impression. Mixed in water, the taste is earthy and mildly of beets, with no sweetness at all. The powder is hard to dissolve, even with a blender ball cup, and I can't imagine drinking it in just water on a regular basis. Mixed into hot pearl couscous the powder infuses the pasta with a lovely beet flavor and creates the most beautiful pink... I can hardly wait to make this for friends! Overall, this is a good product, but I have to figure out how to best use it...

While the flavor is about the same as fresh beets, (not stellar) the convenience over trying to buy and keep fresh beets in the house for my morning smoothie make it worth the effort of ordering online.

I thought I’d give this organic beet powder as I’ve tried some several times before and have loved it.Beets are just starting to show up in the stores and I’ll purchase them now and then. I do have a supply of canned on hand, but they don’t have the taste beets or beet root powder does. The beet root comes in a Mylar bag, which is perfect for long-term storage, if so desired. It has a good seal and it I keep it in my pantry, it should last a while. The power can also be transferred to canning jars and sealed. It’s actually double-bagged in a resealable outer Kraft bag with a Mylar one on the inside.This powder, which should have 15 calories per serving (one tablespoon) can be used in smoothies. It says zero calories, but that’s only for a miniscule amount. I am adding this powder to my fresh cooked veggies. As soon as I popped the top on the bag, the wonderful aroma of beets came at me. It mixed very well. My suggestion would be to NOT dump a full tablespoon on your food, but rather sprinkle it, adding more to taste.This beet powder has a lot going for it, including the fact that it has the USDA Organic seal and the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice.
