Using it as a guitar cab and it seriously is badass
Bought this bad boy to place a 10" WGS guitar speaker.I was curious to see how a car sub enclosure would sound as a guitar cab.I was knocked off my ass.I have a modified Epihpone Valve Jr with gold platted pin tubes ( Tungsol ), on the stock speaker it had little to no low end.I had to place a female jack input on the side of this enclosure to be able to connect it to the amp.Whole new level of sound, it sounds really electric with a great low end. Not the tightest, but it fills up the room really well.Used it ounce on stage ( miked with a sm57 ) and it blew everyone away. Guys with their Blackstars or Marshall did not see that coming.I have a ZOOM GX1n that I use also as a cab simulator ( I use a 4x12 MESA clone impulse ) and it combines great with the tube amp and the response this enclosure gives to the speaker.Very solid and fairly light, so great for gigs.I would recommend getting a speaker grill or some sort of protection in front of the speaker. To anyone looking to try to make a guitar cab out of this, go ahead, give it a try, you'll be surprised.

Loud box
I’ve got a 10” infinity kappa subwoofer (450 Watts rms) connected to a kicker 600 watt rms amp (at 2 ohms) and this box sounds great. I added a little stuffing to the box to improve the sound (I do this with all my subwoofers) and it sounds great. Set the cutoff around 70-90hz on your cross over & enjoy. Great box.

Cheap but almost too cheap
I picked this box up as a cheap enclosure for a Kicker CVR 10" sub and eventually upgraded to an Alpine Type R 10". The box is sturdy enough and doesn't seem to have any issues with it's build quality, but it's design has some flaws for getting good performance out of it.The box is really small, less than 1 cubic foot of internal volume which led to poor sound quality with both of my subs. The port is tuned too high so your low bass doesn't sound nearly as good as it could.I'm a little confused as to why this box was designed this way, if it was just slightly larger and tuned lower this would be the best deal around.

One NOT TWO speaker bix
It’s a nice box well constructed but I purchased this because I wanted two speakers and this only was a single speaker box. Very disappointed as all the photos in the listing show one large box that holds two speakers not a single hole that only holds one. Beware you are buying a speaker box for only ONE speaker not two.

Sounds good, at a good price...
4 stars on material. Not bad but not the best. Smells like fish for a couple weeks.Sounds great, and the price was right.
