I have many kalimbas and this one is the best in the hollow type. No dead key, beautiful sound, I got the one with EQ, so it's a bit heavy, but still very comfort to hold. Nothing to complain!

The kalimba has a lovely big sound and looks and feels nice in the hand. This is my second lingting kalimba (I also have the solid body, key of C), and I am really impressed by the quality for the price ($42). I don't care about the tassel (it gets in the way) or the tremolo chain (just sounds weird), but the instrument itself and the case are awesome.It is just a few extra dollars to get the version with the pickup, so it seems short-sighted not to. I didn't notice this in the listing, but it even came with the audio cable.I would post a video, but I'd embarrass myself with my playing! ;)

Sounds nice but the wood on the back split, not sure if this is due to the hole, as thats where the split is.
