I bought one each for my 3m old twins, the theory of this item is so much better than the reality.First of all... getting a baby to put their hand or foot on the clay without clenching is virtually impossible! It would potentially be much easier if they were newborn. I thought it'd be possible if they were asleep, not at all! The angle to fit their little hands on it is impossible and I'd physically wake them up by undressing them. Also, you have to apply weight when trying to do a footprint. I had to hold my boys above the clay, press down and wiggle their feet for it to actually take at all! The footprint isn't particularly visible, I'm going to have to paint it light grey!The clay itself was also quite hard to remove from their feet - I resorted to baths and scrubbing their feet with a flannel.Secondly, the size of the photos is very difficult to come by. They're expensive to order because they're an unusual size. I'm having to order a 20 pack of 3 x 3" photos as most shops don't print these!All in all, a good idea but not exactly practical.

This product was so much easier to use than one we had been gifted. Easy to manipulate the clay and set and use with the baby to make the impression and I like the option of 2 pictures

Bought this to make a Christmas present. The clay was difficult to spread and the ‘rolling pin’ was so small it left lines in the clay.When I finally got the clay in trying to push the foot and hand of the baby in took more force than expected resulting in a very shallow impression so I didn’t hurt him.It says in the instructions to keep in a cool, dry and dark place to dry.It has dried with huge cracks down the clay making it only fit for the bin. Waste of money!

I bought this for my friend's baby and she absolutely loved it. It was very easy to use with instructions provided. It's a great gift if you are looking for gifting someone.

***** WONDERFUL PRODUCT DEFINITELY THE BEST 1 ***This is such a beautiful thing to have as a memory of your elderly pets. Or for your children when they were small. I must admit for the price I wasn’t expecting very much but turns out this is well worth the money!! The frame is solid and stunning & it’s so easy to use use my 5yr old nephew did mine with me.I used mine for my dogs paw prints & they sat fine for it & the clay cleaned off their paws so easily.I love the fact you even get little letters and a slider to put them on to keep them together & straight so I could put the dogs names under each set of paw prints to be able to tell them apart.I would definitely recommend this one to anyone and have told all my friends about it.
