Whilst I don’t have sensitive or acne-prone skin, I prefer using this brand as it is non-irritating.This lightweight eye cream comes in a simple tube that’s easy to use. It has a lightweight consistency with no detectable scent to it, and quick-absorbing.I just need to use a small amount on my fingertip and slowly tap it on the eye area. I find that it does take a while to get absorbed into the skin. However, once absorbed, it does make the skin around the eyes hydrated and smooth.I have been using this cream religiously for two weeks and while it does make the skin around the eye area smoother and more moisturised, I have not seen any dramatic improvement in fine line. But that’s expected from any type of skincare as it will take a few weeks to see visible results with consistent use.It’s good to know that the results have been promising so far and I also don’t have any adverse reactions to it.For £21 (at the time of writing), it’s quite on the pricey side, nevertheless, the eye cream seems to have a good formulation to help the skin imperfections for the eye area. The lid is not just a simple pull off lid and you have to twist to get it off. It’s also sort of like a big fat crystal! This doesn’t add anything to the product effectiveness of course but a company that bothers to spend money on their packaging is probably going to be fairly decent.It’s made in Japan and that again gives me a bit of confidence that this is fairly decent. I’ve not heard of the brand much before so that’s my due diligence!The ingredients look fairly good. It does include silicones and other ingredients that sound very chemically but once I compared it to orher branded creams I have, there is no real difference from most other eye creams.It has absolutely no fragrance at all and no colour. It’s clear and rubs in really easily. Under the eyes it feels quite cooling initially and then sinks in with no issues. It did pep my eyes up a little bit and I can see how it hydrates and moisturizers under my eyes but it didn’t do much for the dark circles.I like the product but it is, for me, fairly expensive. I’m not sure it’s a lot better than others I’ve tried. However, eye creams in particular can be expensive so it’s not really a negative. It hasn’t irritated my eyes in the slightest, which is a big plus for a cream but should be the bare minimum requirement for an eye cream though! This one leaves a creamy moisturized feeling on your skin under your eyes and I prefer creams that leave your skin feeling very silky and dry.So, it’s good - but but not my favourite cream. To make it even more refreshing I store mine in the fridge so that I get a lovely cooling feeling when I apply this under eye cream at night after I have taken off my makeup for the day.The tube may appear small but this is actually a very generous sized tube of eye cream compared to most on the market. After using this for over 4 weeks I can actually see a difference in the area under my eyes, the skin looks healthy and moisturised and has lost its dull appearance. I have used other products from Curel and was not disappointed with this amazing under eye cream.
