The Tarot Revealed: A Beginner's Guide

This was a great read and a wonderful introduction to a mysterious art. Some of the anecdotes were a bit much for me though.

My favorite for quick, concise definitions. He gives examples from past readings which illustrate beautifully how the card may apply. He is upbeat and positive, feels like a coach one can call for advice rather than a mystic. I really like his take on reversed cards- the deck becomes a tool for self-enlightenment.

This book is one of my very favorites! It is easy to read and understand. I find I refer to it often, usually on a daily basis. It is definitely a must for a beginning Tarot reader like myself. I would strongly recommend it.

i got it first from the library ,and i love it so much,so i got it easy explained, simple,maybe the only book you need ( i wish i readed first) im just a begginer,i really liked the way it was explained ,get it you will be glad

I am a novice Tarot reader. I only read for myself. I have 5 Tarot books yet this is the one I turn to most often

This is a great book for the beginner or novice. The one good thing about this book is that is reveals reversed cards meanings as well as upright. Would recommend for anyone interested in Tarot readings.

I read a lot of tarot books and this is one of the best ones for beginners, I have found. I really like how the writer doesn’t shy away from the psychic/intuitive side to tarot, like a lot of other modern writers on the subject do. In fact he embraces it and encourages you to build your own psychic abilities through tarot. I really like this approach a lot; it speaks to me. I strongly recommend checking out his other books too, he is an excellent writer and I love all his stuff so far. I’ve learned a lot from him.

I think this book is very comprehensive for a beginner at least for me. It really speaks to you and has pertinent description with examples of his experience with reading. It is really open to anyone has an easy language and am very happy with it for opening the way to the tarot for me.

Great book. Had another of his in paperback and was delighted I could get it this on kindle. Card readings that come from experience and clear intuition rather than general vague meanings. Great for spiritual development rather than just 'seeing into the future' Work well with any pack not just rider waites
