It’s a wonderful blender... can be used as eye shadow too... It’s appropriately named a “Shimmer Brick... not overly glittery... very pretty facial finish.

Yes it is authentic and I like it a lot. It is not flaky and goes on smoothly. Less expensive on amazon

Q: Which complexions are best for Luster which is best for gleam?

I’ve been using shimmer both bricks for years. Typically I use the luster in winter and with warm tones, the gleam is normally for cooler tones. Love them both.
