MSG - 2 Pounds - Flavor Enhancing Mono Sodium Glutamate Food Additive

I heard celebrity chef David Chang say MSG gets a bad rap. It contains umami and is something he uses at home. I remember loving it as a kid, but it disappeared from the shelves. This is amazing. I use it on salads, eggs, vegetables, fish, chicken. Highly recommend.

Been looking for a good quality MSG and this fits the bill. Adds a lot of flavor to veggies, meats and potatoes.

After trying a few different sources, I like this product the best.

Less salt. More taste

I bought this because MSG is supposed to stop dogs from eating dog turds. Apparently it tastes fine in their food, but makes their stools taste horrible (I wonder how some human discovered this???). Well, my dogs continue to regard each other as candy dispensers. In other words, it didn't work, but I can't really blame the MSG since that's not what it's made for. It did arrive quickly, was packaged well, and was in good condition. I can't recommend it for the prevention of stool consumption, but if you have some other reason to buy, go ahead.

The crystals (flakes?) are too large (long, really). It doesn't work in something like salt shaker. Also, it doesn't seem as potent as another brand of MSG I've used. I need a lot more of it.
