Mighty Gadget 1 Lb (16 oz) Brown Kraft Crinkle Cut Shred Filler Paper for Gift Basket, Box Filling, Stuffing

I was so glad to find this reasonably priced on amazon. I purchased this to use as filler for a large bucket that is used as a gift basket. It seemed ridiculous to pay over $4 for a tiny bag of filler at the big box stores. It filled just enough to cover the bottom of the container. Now if you are looking to add significant height with a large item such as mine, I would recommend ordering additional filler or use Styrofoam to add your desired height.

This is a nice filler for baskets/gift/crafts. It is a more sturdy crinkle paper than some of the other stuff out there. Hold a little weight on top nicely and looks nice.

This is good quality crinkle paper with a stiff feel. I use this for shipping fragile items so it needs to be stiff. I've purchased other crinkle paper that is softer texture, almost like a toilet paper consistency, which would be nice for a gift box or Easter basket. But this brand is good for keeping items tightly packaged so they arrive intact.

Exactly what I needed to spruce up about 25 gift baskets. Saved me a lot of money vs. small bags available locally. Not intended to be used to prop up items in the basket, but plenty for making a decorative layer.

This past holiday, for the first time ever, I decided to make gift baskets of goodies for everyone of varying sizes depending on my obligation to them. The baskets consisted of mainly food items (chips, crackers, cookies, sausage, cheese, etc.) and I needed these to sort of fill in the holes and not look like it was made by a total amateur (which I am). Yeah, I can’t believe I paid money for this, so by principle, it is pricey for crinkled paper, but in the end, it does its job and makes the basket look nice.The 1lb came in a smallish packaged, which annoyed me at first. But remember, it is packed in and there is A LOT to work with. The trick, of course is to not use these to prop up anything, but rather to fill in the holes that people can actually see on the top to make it look nice. That said, I still have quite a bit left over (even after 20+ baskets!). This is a little annoying to me personally because now I have to make more baskets in the future to use it all up and I found that making baskets is not my favorite thing to do. Hah!
