Happy Baby Organics Clearly Crafted Stage 1 Baby Food, Mangoes, 3.5 Ouncee Pouch (Pack of 16)

Let's be real, most people don't eat prunes because they taste good. Some of you do enjoy the not quite grape taste of prunes, I'm sure, but MAJORITY of folks use prunes for one reason - to poo.With that said, if we're buying squeeze packs of prunes for a baby/tot in bulk, it's PROBABLY for that same reason, so what we're hoping is that the pack isn't disgusting (baby will eat it) and it, uh, get's things moving. My picky eater - 16 month old - will eat about half a pouch in one sitting. She doesn't mind prunes in general and when she's being very fussy, i squeeze it out of the pouch into a bowl, mix it with some applesauce, and we're golden.MORE IMPORTANTLY - when she's had too much cheese (which she does love), these work great to loosen her up. We try to feed her 1/2 a pack every day or so to make sure we don't get constipated, but when she does, a pack of these babies gets her right in no time. I'd definitely recommend. As for the taste - I try everything she tries, even when I find it gross. They taste like prunes. If that's your thing, then you and baby both can enjoy a pouch.

I agree with the other reviewers who said these mangos have a stale taste; they taste overripe to the point of tasting almost moldy. My baby loves mangos and sucks down fresh ones or the Plum Organics pouches. So when our babysitter told me my l.o. refused these, I was surprised. And then I tasted them. And then I made my partner taste them. And we both made those "what is that bad flavor" faces. hahaI got these because they have more mango and less water per pouch than the Plum Organics ones, but I won't make that mistake again and suggest you steer clear too!

When in doubt, just try it yourself. It is so much more sour than those Mango pouches from Plum Organic. And worse, it taste so stale and metalic. I cannot get over the can taste. Then you wonder why LO all in a sudden start to hate Mango, when before he loves it with those from Plum Organic. Put the two together, you will see! The contrast is way too huge to be missed.

I was happy to find this mango puree presented in a very practical pouch but the issue is the taste. It has a weird and bitter taste far from the quality and taste of the Gerber mango puree which is so sweet and good. Even this one has a darker color than the one made by Gerber.

My daughter has constipation issues - and I've always used gerber prunes. Just realized they only have 3 prunes in one container; this has NINE and it's in an easy peasy squeezey form! LOVE this! My daughter is 3 years old and this does the trick!

We got these when my daughter started getting constipated at around 15 months. Her ped said prunes would help. We give her one pouch a day and she has become regular! Plus she gets her fruit in. They always come quickly too!

I give a packet per day to my daughter to help get her digestive track flowing. She likes the taste and it keeps her regular

I tried this myself before feeding my baby (which she liked)... it was so good even I would eat it! I had my almost 8 year old niece over the day it arrived.. she tried it and ate one herself. Haha! Two thumbs up!
