SMAVCO300-03866 Battery for Honeywell Lynx, 3700mAh (Battery Connector - Three (3) Prong. Check Before Purchase!)

I Have a Honeywell LYNX Touch L7000 Research told ne to get this Battery. I Ordered it and when it arrived I opened My Unit. The Old battery was the 4 hour two wire Item 300-03864-1, 7.2V 1100mAh listed in the questions above, (Not available at this time). There are two connectors on the board one above the other one is two wire, two plug, the one below it is two wire three plug center plug empty. Unit works with either battery using the correct plug for the battery you have. It takes about a 1/2 day to charge. New larger battery fits in the sane holder, but does fill it completely, Plastic Battery retainer fits in two places, use the place to the left for the larger battery, the place closer to the center for the smaller battery This works , the annoying beep is gone, and the new battery is a larger capacity. Well pleased. You can find you tube video showing replacement. You may want to call your service provider, before you replace, this will cause a tamper alarm. they can put it in test mode, while yo make the change. A Lot cheaper to do it yourself, and to buy from Amazon. you will NOT use the USB cable provided, for this, but it will fit many things you probably already have.

Worked in my Honeywell LYNX Touch L5100. Replaced the original P/N 300-03864-1/LYNXRCHKIT-SC rechargeable battery with this higher capacity model P/N 300-03866/LYNXRCHKIT-SHA. Don't forget to call the alarm company and have them put it in test mode before you open the unit.This battery has 2 wires connected to a 3-pin connector. The old battery had 2 wires connected to a 2-pin connector. The circuit board has both connectors on it. I attached photos of the manual describing this.
