The Catch (Summer Nights Series Book 1)

I loved this book so much!!Starting off as a summer romance, Cat & Josh are so drawn to each other that they continue seeing each other when they're back home. Josh is such a great book boyfriend and Cat is a badass Latina who is a tough nut to crack, but when Josh manages it, it's so worth it!I loved that we saw aspects of a real relationship, the characters trying to make it work despite their jobs and the distance and that they have fights and niggles like normal couples which romance novels tend to shy away from but I loved it, I found it added the tension and that it wasn't a predictable read which was massively refreshing.The steam level was pretty good, I always want more but this had a good level. It was sweet, funny and swoony and I can't wait to read the rest in the series!

This was such a lovely surprise of a book. A fab love story with realistic characters and situations. I will definitely be looking for more from this author.

And I wanted to be what you wanted.”From first to last page, this contemporary romance is full-on swoony. I stayed up until 4AM reading it, and I'm a working mom. This is the kind of book where everything - every scene, every person, every setting - is perfectly described and full of purpose. I'm in LOVE with all the side characters and cannot WAIT to read The Rules. This story is about instant attraction and deep connection. About understanding and forgiveness. It's utterly enchanting and lovely. I already bought copies for my friends. Can you tell I loved it? You will, too.

All I can say is…. 𝐈 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐓! I had the cheesy grin throughout the book! It made me happy. It made me roll my eyes some. It had me reading it nonstop! So yes, I loved it! The perfect summer read, and not to mention, the beautiful cover!We have Catia and her friends who are typical friends with differing personalities and view points. These are the friends that you discuss all the important things like should you date him or not, lol. Catia is in a state of I hate all men and I need to get my life together before I waste my time on men again due to a past relationship. But… oh noooo, what always happens?? Cue beautiful man coming in the picture who is hard to resist, and in steps Josh!Josh sees Cat, Cat see Josh and the fun begins. Cat has on her hard exterior because she doesn’t want a relationship because again, all men ain’t *%#€ remember? This is where my eye rolls came in because Cat was trying to play hard, and hard to get, but who can resist the sweetie pie, Josh. But is he too good to be true? This is where the cheesy grins came in as I continued to read! Both have pasts that linger a bit (some more than others). I loved the inner thoughts of Cat, sometimes, and Josh, but did had my eyes rolls, talking to the book, and some laugh out loud moments.
