This was a huge upgrade from my normal nippers. I had less sanding to do leaving little to no stress mark on my gunpla cuts. Also it may not matter to some but seeing it in a good looking case make this display worthy on my work table. It just looks beautiful.

The only thing I have to compare these to is a sub $10 pair. There is no comparison. The cheap pair make the sprue feel like you are cutting through wooden dowels. These make the sprue feel like BUTTER. I have only used them for a couple models so we will have to wait and see how long they last. When I ordered them I thought the sheath was gimmicky, but I like it very much. The packaging is second to none.

These cut extremely smooth cuts. There is very little resistance so the plastic feel soft. This is the 5th type I've used and by far, these are the best.These cut straight through. ALL of the others cut and push because the blades are so thick. This blade is so thin, it just cuts through so it is smoother and does not break off the sprue by mistake.I want to buy another pair just because but will wait. I also like the cover so the blade isn't damaged when storing.

Edit: They have now grouped the product I reviewed with these nippers, and I don’t doubt the nippers are good. The other product in this listing, which is what I reviewed, is little more than a glorified pair of tweezers that look indistinguishable from nippers.These look like many nipper sets that I've used in the past, and the listing repeatedly contradicts itself by saying it's sharp and will create a clean flush, but upon receiving them I noticed it is a "bladeless" nipper, so it's just not sharp enough nor precise enough to create a clean cut. This is for bending small metal or plastic pieces, definitely not for cutting. Returned. Two stars for decent quality build and great packaging presentation. Stars off for inaccurate claims in the listing.
