Today was my first time using this product. I read the instructions, which are somewhat clear. I’m new to this type of treatment and didn’t know what to expect. Not going to lie, I was a little scared at first, but after some research online, I can to a conclusion that this type of treatment is safe.You are supposed to shave first and ensure that your skins is dry without any lotions or products on it. You use a continuous flash mode on larger areas and a pulse/flash on small areas. I didn’t know what that meant at first because the product didn’t light up when I turned it on. Now I know it’s a safety mechanism. It only gets activated when it comes in contact with your skin.Make sure you wear the included glasses as it is quite bright when activated. Since I just completed my first treatment, I can’t report on the effectiveness, but I will update this review in a few weeks. My initial feedback is that the device is well made and is significantly less expensive than some other brands.

This arrived very nicely packaged and quick. Everything looked shiny, new, and hygienic. The color is nice, and I especially like the trim color (warm/copper). The treatment window is easy to keep clean, thus far, and the power outlet went into my wall socket easily (some don’t).I love the fact it came with a razor in case I didn’t have one and the glasses with the removable UV sticker to prove they will help protect my eyes, too! Side note: the glasses fit my face well and I was kind of wanting to wear them outside, too.Outcome Expectations: There are a couple of handy color insert chart cards on the heavier card stock which let me know ‘right off the bat’ that it would work for my skin tone and hair color. (They show up on the images too for the listing).I also liked seeing there what to expect if used on a man’s face (the devices' effectiveness based on hair thickness - and the expected timing for good results in those areas).The box and fitted insert made me feel like the device and accompanying cord, instructions, razor could all easily go back in and be housed in there indefinitely, for their lifetime. The box was sturdy but the font/stylizing were attractive and pleasing.A ‘popping (crisp)’ sound, bright light, and warmth emitted will confirm it is on (at first, I did not hold down the power button to try to turn it on).The instructions are written well - I just needed a little help in order to make sure I knew how to tell it was on and how to properly switch between manual and flash/glide modes.**The company was great about responding to me and very helpful with their responses for the couple of quick questions I sent to them. I was so excited that it was on I did not take the time to familiarize myself with the buttons in the easily accessible diagram/image. Do that first.There are 2 main buttons - the power button, which you’ll hold down until it turns on and the 2nd button, which is a wide smooth panel on the side opposite the power on the other side of the digital window.This second button, if pressed and held a few seconds, will turn the device to a ‘time-saving/automatic ‘flash’ mode’, of sorts, that, if in full contact with skin, will flash on its own every few seconds and will make gliding along and getting full coverage so much easier (no individual button presses needed for each area). The power output for the device seems right on target (I’m starting at the low end, per the instructions).To note: I thought the nice fan that runs while the device is on was not too loud or obnoxious (actually it was pleasant to have running, like a soft white noise). Also, there were no smells that were caused by the use of this device that were concerning or alarmed me. I was not worried to be using it in a quiet setting at home.The count down for the number of flashes is great to see right on the digital panel as well. It just shows you will have a good, very long expected ‘usage’ timeframe - many uses. This is ‘probably’ above average for this type of device.I never looked directly at the devices’ flash/treatment window, and did not use the device without glasses, but the light can still feel quite bright when it flashes. Make sure you are wearing the glasses and are looking through the lenses while the device flashes to protect your eyes.Overall, I believe I (and probably my husband, too) will be extremely happy with our outcomes using this specific device.I have been wanting to use one of these, or get it done at a salon, but was delighted to do this instead of having to make uncomfortable appointments (needing to pay for someone else to do it outside my home, and over a number of separate visits), when I can instead do it comfortably at home when it works for me.I also feel like this seems like one of the nicer options out right now for this type of at home use.The instructions, packaging, number of uses, and device output all exceeded my expectations. It is too soon still to say what results I will have from using it according to the instructions.

I am not one to write reviews but after how well this product worked, I felt the need to share my experience with others. I noticed a huge amount of hair reduction after just one use which really surprised me. The attached picture of my leg is after only the second session. Very few hairs are growing back in! :) My body hair normally grows extremely fast, but this slows it down so much that I find myself rarely even having to shave. I have gotten the best results on my legs so far.

This product came well packaged! Very professional. The instructions were easy to follow... Stating that fact leads me to why I dropped a star. Reading the instructions it states that this product is not made for people of color (as myself), and it also states a few other exceptions to using the product. So, be sure to read the instructions thoroughly!

I suffered a lot from eczema and strawberry legs from shavings. I thought I would give this a try before going for laser treatment in clinic, it works ! I’ve only tried it twice and I already noticed slower hair growth. Hopefully I can say goodbye to shaving for good!

This product was nicely packaged, cared for and shipped very quickly. Easy to use but make sure you read the entire instruction booklet. If you just dive right in you will be confused.Was easy to use. You shave first. They even threw in a disposable bic razor which was nice. Dry your skin, do not put any lotions on yet. You then turn on your device. I used the glide motion. There's also a flash motion setting. Make sure to use the glasses which were provided to protect your eyes.Yes no burn, no itching.i Put lotion on after and I didn't have dry skin after.I did do some research was a little nervous at first. Wanted to make sure this was going to be safe because I've never tried one of these before. And I've read it could dry your skin or burn but this particular product does not. I have used it a few times and haven't seen results but should at about 12 weeks so I will keep you all updated.

Outstanding product. I have been using it for several weeks on my underarms on level three, following the directions, and already there is minimal hair growth. I expect it will take a month longer to remove all traces of hair.The kit comes with everything one needs to start, and the protective glasses are a true benefit.
