It was fun to make and fun to play
I enjoyed building it and our granddaughter enjoys playing with it. It’s a good strong build too.

Three lots of fun to be had!!
This has got to be one of the best 3 in 1 kits out there. The ferris wheel builds to a good height and holds figures well. Then once the kids get bored of the ferris wheel, break it down and go with one of the other models. Days of fun!

Great play or display set
I loved the Creator Expert fun fair sets from Lego but they are quite large and a complicated build so I was made up Lego released this 3-in-1 version for a younger builder! I bought from the Lego website but getting a discount on Amazon is an added bonus.I built most of the set with some help from my 5 year old as he's still a little young for it. I would think a child from 7 years would be able to build it unaided.PROS- 3 sets in 1 - Ferris wheel, Bumper cars and Swinging boat ride- Enjoyable build- All 3 sets look superb when built and have great play features - the Ferris Wheel and Bumper car are our favourites- Great as a display piece- Nice selection of minifiguresCONS- You'd need to buy 3 sets to display all 3 at the same time- Swinging boats are a little limited as they only swing back and forth but it looks good- Although good, the play features are restricted to turning the Ferris Wheel, swinging the boats or bumping the cars, so longevity might be an issue.Overall, 3 great sets in 1, especially if you're a fan of fun fairs. I would recommend it but probably when its on a discount.

A good set for slightly older children
We thought this was an enjoyable build and took turns following the instructions, taking us about 1 hour 50 minutes. It did get decidedly repetitive at on point, when building the actual wheel, but there is no way around this given the model. There are some slightly fiddly bits, so I wouldn't give this to an under 9-year-old, but my 11-year-old had no problems (though he did make sure I did all of the repetitive parts)!Once built it is fairly impressive, but not a huge model, standing at under 30cms high. Given the price though, I wouldn't expect any more than this. It comes with a couple of smaller models: a balloon stand and a ticket booth, which are quite easy builds and add to the general atmosphere. There are five minifigures included, one of which has the shorter kid's legs. There is also a dog, but this is a miniature build, rather than a figure. The model uses a handful of Lego Technic elements, in order to create the mechanism that turns the wheel. It wouldn't take too much to hook this up to a Lego motor, if you have the parts. Being a '3 in 1' set the wheel can be dismantled and there is a choice of two other builds to make with the parts. It's very colourful and really suits the fairground theme. Lego have a few other fairground rides available, so it's possible to create a small theme park. We already have a roller coaster, so this will sit displayed with that.Overall, this is a nice model and would keep a child occupied for a couple of hours building it, plus any time they spend actually playing with it. For the price, it's quite good value for money and would be a fairly large present on its own.

Timeless lego, challenging builds X3!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I immensely enjoyed building this set for my boy to play with, it was quite a challenging build and I think the 9+ age range is about right with the wheel getting quite fiddly in places. I really like the Creator series which always seem to go for timeless designs which are gender neutral and great fun for all ages of lego fans. This particular model will be going down to my family's holiday house for everyone to make on a rainy day on their holidays, it beats a puzzle hands down and there is no tv or internet! The wheel was slightly smaller than I thought when looking at the box, but then that is usually the case with lego... I haven't tried the other two designs as yet, but from past experience they are usually smaller builds than the main model which uses all the bits. I had a bit of a worry when building the wheel that the carriages were not going to be stable enough, looking for quite a long time that they were just going to be attached by one dot blocks, but fear not, hammer time will come to your rescue! An immensely rewarding build so far with two more to look forward to, quite a pricey set at £65, but worth every penny from this lego fan! A great set for a grandparent to have for when the grandchildren come to visit and possibly have a play with themselves on a rainy day.
