Convenience
There are two perspectives of conveniences as mentioned above. One is that it’s very easy to be installed on my vehicle and uncomplicated to use. The operations on this excellent screen turn out to be almost the same as a cellphone. The other aspect of convenience is greatly represented by the incredible functions. My vehicle is rather old and it’s not equipped with car play, but it is this marvelous equipment that exceedingly improves the quality and compel of my poor car. Now the vehicle has nothing to do without it, such as navigating, music-playing, etc. I’ve got used to it. All in all, fantastic apparatus!

Not a good stereo.
Where do I even start with this. If you're looking for a loud, hard hitting quality stereo, this isn't it. It sounded like trash, It made my new speakers sound blown. The volume wouldn't go too high. I spent hours trying to adjust the EQ and it still sounded like crap. I put my 13 year old Sony Explode back in it to make sure the speakers were ok, and all of a sudden, the sounds came to life and the bass was hitting the way it was supposed to.I mainly got this because it was advertised to mirror your phone with car play. That would be handy for me because I drive for DoorDash and would be great for the map app and control it through the decks touch screen, but no such luck. It did that, but the screen showed like it was on my phone, just up and down. Touch screen didn't work in that mode and could only be done through USB, not Bluetooth. I also have a USB thumb drive with over 3000 songs on it and was using that to adjust the sound to find out that it only read maybe 700 tracks.Basically, this was a big disappointment. Save your money and the hassle of messing with this. I had to send it bad because it was that mad. Save a little more to get a quality stereo from Pioneer, Kenwood or Sony if possible.

Good product for the price - but has some bugs
This was a great buy for the price, and so far so good on performance. Does Apple Car Play only via USB cable, but that's NBD. All the wires matched to the harness just fine and had it installed in an hour or so. Controls are mostly self explanatory. A couple of issues I've had are how tiny the volume buttons on the unit are, and they are so close to the edge that it is hard to press them almost buried under the face plate. Another issue is the radio seems to have an entirely different volume equalization than the BT/USB. Whenever I switch over to radio (unplugging the USB for example), the radio is BLARING! I have had a couple of instances as well, where the touch screen stopped working. Only turning the car off and back on fixed that. The phone screen mirroring is useless, as it only displays a small vertical version of the phone screen - can hardly read anything on it. Finally, if you turn the car off before unplugging the phone, it will default to a CarPlay/Andriod set up screen when you start the car back up - mostly just annoying. All that aside, the sellers customer support is great and responsive should you run into any trouble with the unit or the install.

Good product
If you buy a new car stereo in the market, then this is your best choice. I have a JVC for many years, but it died recently, so I am looking for a replacement for it. I spent a few hours researching all the new features and different manufacturers. When I found LYTDZ-CA, my search was over. This is exactly what I am looking for. It has 3 USB ports that can be used for flash drives and charging mobile phones. There is also a micro SD slot for additional storage. Compatible with Apple carplay and Android auto. You can purchase a dashboard kit from Amazon, which will be easier to install. I had some trouble getting the steering wheel controls to work, but the support staff responded very quickly and we let them work. I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, so if you are hesitant, please buy it, you will not regret it.

Clunky user interface & Lack of pre-amp outputs
I installed the headunit last night. One thing I found that I really didn't like is the user interface. When using Apple Carplay if you switch to any other screen you can not get back to the carplay menu, you have to unplug your device then plug it back in. There is only 1 pre-amp output with full range sound (left & right) and its not front or back, just left & right, instead of being able to plug so much other crap we don't need I really with features we could actually use. There is only a single output mono out for sub-pre amp which just about any amp requires 2 pre-amp outputs, a left & a right, there is only a singular output. The screen is decently bright and the headunit functions as it should otherwise. I do hear engine noise with this unit that I did not have with my previous head unit. Overall for a double din touch screen head unit with car play capability for only $129 what do you expect honestly. Mine did have an issue with the control illumination not working so I am currently waiting for a new unit to come in. We will see if some of these issues I have had with the head unit will be solved when the new unit comes in.

The screen is amazing!
I’m sure there are newer stereos out there but it was what I could afford and I couldn’t be happier. It was easy to install, fit correctly with my car and it looks sleek! I had a friend of mine connect it because of the camera and because I’m not tech savvy and he was done in under ten minutes. I like to hook my phone up to it and play my playlist via Bluetooth. It’s loud when I want it to be so that makes me happy!
