I had to do 3 washes with pre wash plus extra rinse cycles to get the smell out, its really awfully strong. Its kind of plasticy smell with harsh chemical overtone.Its still lingering but I cant contact the seller to return them. I am hoping a couple more stints on the outdoor washing line and it will be good to use.Apart from the smell, these are lovely large soft and superb quality feel to them

I don't usually write reviews, but because of the money I spent on 4 Black and 4 Silver pillowshams, I was so angry I had to. As the velvet side is stuffed, you will find strings of white stuffing coming through the Velvet. "And I mean all over".. I noticed this problem a couple of days after using them, by which time I had thrown all the packaging away. Otherwise they would have gone back. Obviously not so noticeable on the Silver. I Thought the price was too cheap. I really believe these are SECONDS. So Do Not Buy

Really nice set. Looks good in any light. Only thing to be aware of is that the pillow cases are plain white on one side, which means more frequent washing and shorter working life, I guess.

Fantastic quilt. I have four of these now. No more changing quilt covers. I just put the whole thing in the washing machine each week leave to dry and put the next one on the bed.

Really good quality and comfortable bedding. Looks fantastic. Biggest plus for me - it looks good even without ironing, I've just bought a second set.
