Really wasn't sure which brand of pellets to get then I got to thinking....just go with the brand that has the best reviews and makes a great bbq. I don't have a traeger grill so I'm not bound by their brand. I did use these pellets to cold smoke some salmon for 30 minutes for flavor and was not disappointed. Delicious! The pellets caught fire quick enough using my butane torch, let em flame for 8 minutes and blew them out. Smoked my salmon. My shirt even smells like a great smoke! Bought the Mesquite and signature blend. Great price for 20lbs too. Brisket is next low and slow, now with smoke!

Smoking meats on the Traeger may take hours but definitely worth it. And using their Mesquite pellets gives what you are smoking a great flavor. The pellets are well…pellets but seem of good quality and consistency.

Worked well in my pellet grill and pizza oven! Burns really clean.

IDK why but the flavor is very subtle. I'm fine with it but the wife prefers the stronger flavor. If you're buying this for the first time then I'd recommend purchasing the smaller bag or the sampler pack - which I regret not buying to start with.
