FANTASTICALLY constructed
These items are so absolutely amazingly crafted. The bird house has an incredible interior design! The floor has a wire mounted above the floor. This way fly maggots can’t reach into nest and suck the blood of chicks!!!

Durability.
The back of the houses were coming apart. I had to repair them.

Fell apart after rain.
my mason bees needed more room. 1 day of light rain and they completely fell apart. The sides are not nailed or screwed together. Very small nails in the back and that's it. If they were glued on the sides, it definitely wasn't waterproof or water resistant. I'm very disappointed. The metal pieces holding the rope and for use of screws for mounting are rusting already also. Definitely not worth it.

Good bee houses
The bees started using them almost as soon as I hung them up. I like knowing that I can help with future generations of pollinators.

This design of house is vulnerable to predation by birds
I will be modifying this house after the season is done. This house offers no protection from birds. These houses are cheap but leave the bees exposed to birds. Needs careful placement to minimize losses to birds. I will add overhangs to make it harder for birds to perch where they can eat bees.

Not the bee's knees for me
I wanted to love these. They were so cute when they arrived and seemed like they were of good quality. However, one of the two has not withstood the test of time (a couple of weeks) and is already coming apart at the seams. Both houses have been kept under a pergola away from direct weather, and the one in the best shape is strangely closest to the edge. I corked up the previous holes from the carpenter bees, but rather than using either home, they drilled out the corks and went back to their old "homes" - my wooden pergola.

Well built
I'm hoping that these bee houses will do the trick to attract bees to my orchard, only time will tell.
