During March and May, Tyre is known for its abundant seasonal floral diversity that includes citrus, avocado, and wild spring flowers, which gives our citrus honey its characteristic sweet taste and yellow gold color. It only contains natural honey with No preservatives, No artificial coloring, No additional processing and No added sugar. With its sweet taste, our Citrus Tyre Raw Honey is a children’s favorite. Its liquid texture makes it easy to spread. It best combines with cake, watermelon, nuts, grape, orange and banana and it can also be used as a natural sweetener in your hot drinks. At l’Atelier du Miel, we take all necessary steps to ensure our honey is free from antibiotic usage and pesticide residue by choosing the best and most naturally preserved locations for our beehives. Rich in antioxidants and minerals, Citrus Tyre Raw Honey has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-allergy, antispasmodic, and immune supporting properties and, while noted for its energizing effects, it also helps reduce insomnia. Our honey is guaranteed 100% raw. It is untouched from hive to jar, not heated, not filtered, nor transformed in any way. Our honey is single origin. It is not blended. Each apiary’s harvest is filled in its own jars and labeled as per the region. In 2013, l’Atelier du Miel started as a journey to reconnect with nature’s purest product: Honey. We started moving our beehives to different regions around the seasons to provide our bees with different foraging grounds and natural resources. This allowed us to bring 20 types of 100% natural honey from the best locations in Lebanon.
