Steps
Some of the steps were a little confusing. Example, a step would need about 4-7 blocks and then jumps to step 2 and trying to figure out how step 1 was. Or when the piece needs to be upside down, the arrows are the same as turning around. General, the book was nice, worth the price.

Nice addition to the Lego book sets
I have all of the Lego HP books and was bummed they seemed to have stopped making them. When I saw this I got excited because at least, in some way, there will be more and honestly Dumbledore's office is a great idea for one of these. Now how is the actual set? Pretty good. It comes with 2 mini figs (Albus and Harry) and the instructions were very easy to follow for the most part. I only had one missing piece and it was a minor/non-essential that I was able to replace with a spare from my other sets. The blocks locked in nicely and held well. This set actually holds closed better than the Lego sets because the loose pieces are designed to lock down and hold it shut - love that aspect. I do wish the book itself had a solid cover like the Legos, it looks a bit sloppy with the pieced together covers. I also wish it was a different shade as the purple of this book is an exact match for the Lego divination one. One last nit-pick is there is not a spine sticker, there is a spot for one but no sticker on the sheet for it. These are minor issues however and overall I'm very happy to have another book for the set. I've posted side by sides showing the OG Lego (left) and this (right) for comparison.

Nice set but terrible instructions
One thing that almost everything agrees on is that clones of the real thing have bad instructions. The blocks themselves are good quality and fit tight. One thing seems obvious is gaming the number of pieces by just putting in the smallest possible when bigger pieces would work even better. But most people look for number of pieces and think more pieces for the same money is better. My grandson gave up building this because he got frustrated with the instructions and too many small pieces.Would not buy this for children in the 5 to 7 year range.

Quality
It is a playset and interesting/fun play. My kid loves it, easy to follow instructions to build, good product and price as a gift.

Not a Lego
This train was a challenge but a positive one. My grandson had to pit more time into it but when it was finished he set it apart to use it for decoration.

Very good - educational and fun
The media could not be loaded. This was a Christmas present for my 8 yo nephew's little boy. He could not wait to show me the train he had put together. It gives step by step pictures and directions on how to piece together and there are stickers included to stick on some of the bricks to create more detailed lines on them to fit in with the overall design. There are wheel shapes that fit on and will turn so the finished vehicles move as pictured in the booklet and they look very smart. He likes to play it with LEGO figures, which makes it a lot of fun. He was really happy with the gift. He loves making things so couldn't have chosen a better gift.
