Authentic taste
The flavor of this stollen is outstanding. When purchasing, however, I thought it came in a tin, but didn't. It was difficult on the computer to see which product came in a tin or just a box.

Delicious!
My husband and I visited a Emil Reimann store last Christmas in Dresden and fell in love with their stollen. Imagine my surprise and excitement to find it available through Amazon. Took us back to our trip. The taste was delicious.. Delicate pastry full, of nuts and fruit and a separate bag of powered sugar! Will most certainly order again.

Buy this if you like lots of nut/almond pieces and lots of sugar and are willing to pay extra $$ for it
Any review of food is subjective. - I grew up with stollen in Germany my mom baked and later on, my wife. They were the best. Factory-made stolen are not the same, even when they come in fancy wrappings and with fancy stories. – I bought a Reimann-Stolle for the first time in 2016 based on recommendations from friends and relatives in Germany. I will probably not order it again. For my taste it has way too many pieces of ground nuts. The “crust”, about 10 mm of it, seems soaked with sugar ‘syrup’; even without topping the stolle with the provided powdered sugar, it makes this Reimann-Stolle too sweet for my taste. It is over-prized as well. As everything, it is a matter of taste. For people who like lots of nut particles in their stollen dough and want more sugar than on a classical old fashioned doughnut, the Reimann-Stollen might be a match.Besides comparing this product to my family’s stollen, I have tried factory-made stollen from Oerbel, Küchenmeister and Bahlsen, regular and with ‘marzipan’ fillings, the Bahlsen also with poppy-seed filling. They are not perfect for my taste but they are not ‘over-sugar-ed’ and they are less costly.

Good Stollen is hard to find
Good Stollen is hard to find. This is marginally okay which means it's dry and not very sweet.

Fabulous Stollen
The best I have ever eaten! Really moist and buttery. This one does not have the marzipan centre which I am also very fond of, and although it's rather expensive it'sit really is worth every penny.

Buttery rich
I grew up in Germany and had the pleasure of eating Stollen each Christmas season. This Emil Reimann Stollen albeit expensive is just like the ones I remember from my youth. I will re-order every year!
