Will these drill through the bottom of a Clausen pickle jar?

Draw a line for the cut making sure a fabrot line marker is used for accuracy. Allow at least 1/8” for width of blade. Apply even pressure through out duration of cut. Be sure to wear gloves and ear protection when picking up glass shards and wife yelling “you are a moron but that’s partly why l still love after 40 years of marital bliss”.

When would you use these (for glass and tile) instead of the cylindrical diamond bits?

If the tile is harder material like porcelain or granite it is recommended to use the diamond hole saws or cylindrical diamond bits. Do I need to purchase any other equipment, other than a cordless drill, to be able to make a 1/4" hole in a glass bottle?
