Matt and Kyle Cutest Cubs ever
Wild Wolf (Shifters Unbound) Jennifer AshleyI love Jennifer Ashley’s “Shifters Unbound” series so when Wild Wolf released I jumped on it. Just to give you an idea how big of a fan I am, I actually read Wild Wolf before “The King” and I love me my BDB.If you are a follower of this series you already met Graham McNeil in “Mate Claimed” and probably surmised he is one smexy (in his own kind of way) badass alpha Wolf Shifter. He is a no holds bar leader and never showed a soft side until he met his girlfriend Misty. Isn’t that usually the case? Misty is not your normal human and she’s the first to stand up to Graham and not back down. She is one beautiful tough little human and she saves Graham’s badass twice in this read. When Graham gets a distressed phone call from Misty he’s in the middle of an altercation with one of his pack members and has to tell Misty he can’t talk and will call her back. He senses the fear in her voice and needs to get to her.Misty is attacked in her flower shop by ex-cons looking for her younger brother Paul. She’s pretty roughed up and her shop is pretty much destroyed by Flores and his crew. But Misty still will not reveal where her brother is. She’s kidnapped by them and taken into the desert. When Misty is handed Flores’s phone to call Paul she actually calls Graham.Graham and Dougal (his nephew) play along when Flores grabs the phone and gives them instructions where to meet if they want to see Misty alive. You realize later something isn’t quite right. It appears Graham and Dougal are walking into a trap and then all hell breaks loose leaving the ex-cons escaping and Graham in pretty bad shape. When Misty goes hunting for a cooler place for them to hide until help arrives she crosses a ley line into another realm, Faerie and that’s where she encounters unbeknownst to her a hiker who is actually Fae. He gives her bottled water and convinces her to take to Graham. She drinks the water given and is uncontrollably thirsty. When she gives the bottle to Graham and he pushes it away in a panic she forces him to drink. Now the fun begins. Well not fun. That little bit of water is cursed with Fae magic and all of Graham’s injuries begin to heal that’s when he knows he’s in trouble.Eventually they are rescued and everything starts to unravel. Graham is dying, Misty broke the water curse on her but it didn’t work for Graham. The mating Frenzy is starting to occur and Graham can’t fight it any longer nor does he want to. He wants’ Misty to be his mate, his forever. This installment of Shifters Unbound has your shifters, Eric, Liam, Neal, Ronan and the rest. You are introduced to a new character Ben and Wow he was a shocker. He is trying to help Misty and Graham. Wait until you find out what he is. The Fae have a pretty big party in Graham and Misty’s story and there is something evil brewing with them. Now it is more than imperative they get those collars neutralized. Graham’s nephew Dougal who in my opinion is really a wussy of a shifter, his confidence is next to none but towards the end he starts showing some promise. And I can’t not mention the two adorable rolly polly little wolf shifters Matt and Kyle. OMG I love those two. I could just eat them up. They play a big part in helping Misty save Graham. Wait until you hear what’s so special about them. In the end all worked out for Misty and Graham and would you think otherwise. But I have to admit, I have no clue who the next book will be about. Will it be Dougal? Will we see more of Ben now? Hmmmm I guess we’ll have to wait for Jennifer Ashley to announce the next installment.

Great Romance!
*I received this book in exchange for an honest review*Graham McNeil lost his mate and son a long time ago and has become a gruff, intimidating pack leader. He's closed himself off from the thought of loving another mate that is until Misty wraps her all too human hands around his heart.Misty is a sweet human who has fallen for a shifter with a lot of baggage and who his people expect to mate with one of his own kind. She is a florist which for some reason makes her seem all that more innocent to me.Jennifer Ashley has done it again with a great story and characters that you really want to love. I've been a fan of this series since the beginning and when Graham first came into the picture I was hoping he would find someone to love. He's emotionally scarred with a gruff exterior but you can tell he's a very noble man and underneath that intimidating persona he puts out there to keep people from getting too close, is a very lovable man who needs a mate to complete him.Graham doesn't really know where he fits in since coming to live in this shifter community where Eric is the leader. He was the leader in his own community but they all had to move to a new shifter town and he's no longer the big boss although his pack members who followed him there do still see him as the boss and their leader.Graham has been dating Misty but has kept his distance emotionally, that is until he gets a troubling call from her and she is kidnapped. He is a beside himself with worry for her and we know he's going to save her but there are some Fae problems along the way. Fae magic and shifters don't go well together at all and this throws a few twists into this story that I really liked. The sexual tension is massive for the first half of this book because although our sweet little human wants to have her way with Graham, he has put the brakes on so he doesn't go too far with her. But he can only hold out for so long before the sexual attraction between them pushes him past his breaking point and he has to have her. While there are secondary character storylines going on in this story, they don't take anything away from Graham and Misty's story at all. In fact I love that about this series because we get to meet so many characters in shifter town and get to know them and hope that some time down the line they get their own book. Some of the best secondary characters in this book are the two cubs that Graham ends up looking after. Not only are they young kids but shifter kids, hence the being called 'cubs'. They get into trouble, eat, make a mess, get into more trouble, eat some more and just seem adorable. If you're a fan of this series you'll love this book. If you're new to the series I suggest starting with the first book and reading your way through the series in order to really understand all of the characters but you can still read this as a stand alone book and enjoy it.[...]

Awesome Book
A bit slow to start but once I got into the book it got better and better. And a explosive finally and more interfere from the Fae . Now I've finished the book I want to read it again knowing its a better book than I first thought. I adore these book and will be sorry when they finish. I really hope all works out for the Shifters and Family and the Fae end up losing or destroyed.

Nice, but let down by Hero
I would have given this 4 stars but for the so called hero. Graham McNeil was always going to be difficult to like and unfortunately, in as much as I like Jennifer Ashley's books, I am unable to give this more than a 3. Graham was never nice and personable and love didn't change that fact for me. I actually hoped he was one of those characters who got killed off in a nasty fight.
