Grows very quickly
It grows very quickly and if not careful turns woody and tough. 3 days is the maximum time I have found before this occurs. However, I found on those that have turned woody and tough that they are usable if cut in 1/2 lengths and lightly cooked.

All beans sprouted (except 1)!
Though this product is a mixture of several species, they all seemed to sprout in a few days. I used the product approximately 1/4 cup at a time from 7/18 until now 11/18 and growth of the last crop was same as the first. Only 1 adzuki bean stayed hard out of the 1 lb supply so no chipped teeth or other problems. For those who are new to sprouting-your-own as was I, here's what worked for me. I found a round plastic jar about 2 inches in diameter and approximately 7 inches high. I started by washing the jar (and every other time using bleach) to kill possible grain germs. Then I add my beans: about 1/4 cup. Next I filled with water and poured off a few times. The final initial step was to fill the jar with water covering the beans by an inch or so then put the cap on the jar; that cap was a plastic snap-on that had a bunch of small holes in it resembling a shower head. Set the jar aside for 4-8 hours.Next fill the jar with water and pour it all off - use the jar cap to make this easy. Then put the jar, laying on its side in a dark place for approximately a day. After resting for a day, repeat the rinse and lay in a dark place. After 2 or 3 days, the beans will have sprouted - you'll see long skinny root-like things attached to the beans - and they are now usable (edible). If not consumed quickly, put in container and store in refrigerator where they'll last for many days.PS The reason for lying the jar on its side is that all the remaining moisture is distributed among the beans; if stood upright, only the bottom beans would get watered.

Quick shipping
I just started on a sprouting spree. I bought the book so needed seeds as part of the process.. I can't say there was anything special that made me choose this vendor, other than just starting out, I'm not sure what some of these sprouts taste like, so I was intrigued by the variety of seeds in each package. Trusted that they knew what went good together. When I first purchased these, I didn't notice the vendor was not on Prime until I went to check out and saw a shipping charge, but I have to say, the shipping was really quick and inexpensive. So, dont let that deter you from purchasing from this vendor. Well packaged and I received the seeds before I received a couple of Prime items. I just started yesterday, soaking my seeds and today was the first rinse day. I was so excited to see the seeds sprouting already! I can't rate the flavor at this time because I am just starting but will do so in a few days. I am already planning on giving sprouting starter packages as Christmas gifts this year so will definitely purchase from this vendor!

Sprout Mixture is Tasty and Versatile
I grow these in a quart jar with a screw-on lid also available from Amazon. I soak them overnight, then rinse them twice a day, keeping them draining beetween times. I find them to grow fast and have an excellent flavor. I just toss a handful into a salad or sandwich. I haven't yet tried them in an omelet, but that is likely to be the next project. One caveat: If they start to go bad, as you can tell by the appearance or smell, throw them out and soak both jar and lid in chlorine bleach and rinse very thoroughly before starting your next batch. Anything eaten raw should be treated this way, especially if it is a food you eat while it is alive a well as raw. If you are immunocompromised, you are better of not eating any raw sprouts, but that doesn't put these off limits. Simply stir-fry for about three minutes in hot oil, preferably peanut oil or canola, and serve hot with whatever seasoning you want on it. It should go without saying that you can use them in any stir-fry.

Sprouts are fresh, great sprouting percentage
We have ordered these sprouts several times and like their consistent high quality. We also appreciate the fast service. The directions are accurate; sprouts are reliable to grow. We put them in salads, stir fries, sandwiches, omelettes, etc. Love that they are organic!

Adzuki beans never sprouted
I only give this 3 stars because none of the adzuki beans sprouted for me. My first sprouting had all beans sprout except for the adzuki beans. I pulled all of the adzuki beans out and tried sprouting them separately. Although some started to sprout, those eventually died and after 10 days I threw everything out as the beans were obviously no good. The other beans seem to spout with no trouble, but they are tough in texture, leading me to believe they too might be a bit old. Over all, not a very positive experience.
