Warriors Super Edition: Moth Flight's Vision (Warriors Super Edition, 8)

To judge any of the Warriors books after the first three six book series, it must be done from the premise that the reader has bought into the "Warrior's World." I'm really not sure how someone who hasn't become familiar with the "Warrior's World" will feel about this book.Indeed, I don't think anyone who doesn't accept J.R.R. Tolkien's premise, “When an author creates a believable world" what really happens is that the story-maker proves a successful 'sub-creator'. He makes a Secondary World which your mind can enter. Inside it, what he relates is 'true': it accords with the laws of that world. You therefore believe it, while you are, as it were, inside. The moment disbelief arises, the spell is broken; the magic, or rather art, has failed. You are then out in the Primary World again, looking at the little abortive Secondary World from outside.” can truly appreciate the Warriors books.So, if you are not already into the Warriors, I suggest you go back to the beginning with the first six book series starting with "Into the Wild." If you have imagination, you'll be hooked. I am and I'm 76 years old. Here is my take on "Moth Flight's Vision. Think of the five six book series as the central story line of one long continuing story. The various novellas and Super Editions all really flesh out this story. Often they answer questions that arose and were left unanswered. Often they add meaning to events and often they tie parts of the story together. Still other times they give us a view of events through the eyes of different characters. Coming to the end of book six in the fourth set the reader may think "That's it, it's all wrapped up." Not so. "Moth Flight's Vision" answer's questions and opens ways to new revelations and adventures for the Warrior Cats. Whether it would be best to read this book before or after the "Dawn of the Clans" set, i'm not sure but do read it. It is very important to the whole story and it confirms that there are many adventures left for the cats and secrets to be revealed.

Warrior Cats continues it’s wonderful legacy of stories…they give you a character’s arc & explain family/clan themes plus thriller stand-alone situations…they’re like little biographies of each cat.

**Spoilers Ahead** This is probably one of the best Super Editions. It's so epic! I expected it to be just Moth Flight finding out she's supposed to become a medicine cat and the leaders getting their 9 lives, but it was just epic. It was really nostalgic when she had those visions of the future.. of some cats that we know. I didn't expect her to get a mate & have kits. Micah's cool, though. I was so sad when he died, but he'll still get to see his kits grow up from the stars. I cried, so be sure to have a box of tissues ready! I like the new covers; the actual book (not the jacket) has a full picture of Moth Flight in front of the moonstone without any words, which is nice. The only thing I'm annoyed about is that they call Moss Tail, 'Swift' for a chapter. Swift isn't in the Allegiances so I'm assuming they've just been mistaken, because he's called a dark brown tom, which is what Moss Tail is.Anyways, this is a really great book with lots of twists and turns, and action that nobody expected!

Any book or series of books that get my child reading as if they cannot get enough will get 5 stars from me. My child has drive head long into these books, while I am sure they will reach burn out, that does not seem to be the case at this time and they have been reading nonstop for 2 years. They would also strongly recommend getting the hard covers. They say it feels special.

Hi. i read this book like three years ago, but ive only recently had acess to the review tool. The book was awesome, as it explained why medicine cats can't have mates. But some things that hapened were a bit predictable, such as Micah dying.but it was overall a great book, and reasonably priced. Great storyline, wasn't confusing, and no typos. My daughter had to pick a book to do a book report for school and insisted that I get this one for her.She has already read a lot of the Warrior Cats books, but needed to get a book she hasn't read yet.She had it finished in about 3 days. She has since read it 1 1/2 times more.This certainly kept her attention and she is now making her notes for the report, but has stated that there are so many climactic events it'll be hard to pick the main one.If you have an avid reader, then the Warrior Cats books are just the thing for them and they'll enjoy this one.
