The fact that almost 1000 (one thousand) of this Drive shower chair have been bought from Amazon in the last 30 day's speak's for itself. There are no tools required or needed for assembly. Chair is entirely made of plastic - a very very thick and strong kind of plastic. All 4 legs screw into place counter clockwise and the chair back and side hamndle's all 3 slide and snap into place. It is that easy. This chair is the perfect size and width to be placed in a standard bathtub. I truly love the fact that there are no metal part's on this chair. The Drive brand is leading the way with their Innovation and this is absolute proof of that. Once Again - Best Shower Chair Ever!

This is a really well-made and sturdy shower chair.It assembles easily with no tools. I did it while sitting in a chair and did not have to get up. A clear instruction sheet is included. The legs screw into the seat. It does take a bit of strength to ensure they are fully tightened in place. Similarly the back and arms press into place. The back and arms slide in easily although they need a good solid push to go the final distance and lock in place. Once assembled, the lower part of each leg twists out in the opposite direction to adjust the height of the seat. A window with a numeric legend makes it easy to adjust all four legs to the same height.The chair fits easily in a standard American Standard bathtub. It can be positioned most of the way back in the tub before the tub gets too narrow for the legs. Placed in this way there is plenty of room in the tub to stand under the water in front of the chair (e.g. if you want to stand while cleaning your torso and sit while cleaning your legs.) Alternatively, it can also be placed up close to the shower head. It also is handy to sit while shampooing your hair since if you value stability.The chair is comfortable to sit in and seems very stable. The back and arms provide added support which is great.If your shower head is fixed in place on the wall it can be helpful to use the chair with an adjustable shower valve such as 100% Shower Head Shut Off Valve - Solid Brass - Chrome Finish. This may be used to adjust the shower flow so the water falls where you wish - in front of you, on you, etc. while seated.Highly recommended!If this review was helpful please let me know by voting for it.

The only flaws were the red markers for height adjustments which bled a bit after contact with water. No permanent damage to my chair or bathtub, but how strange. You can also expect the handles to be a pain to remove after installing them. At least for a petite woman like myself. Extremely happy with this purchase, overall.

I have been using this chair for a while and it works fine and has held up fine under my 250lbs (I am not fat I a well rounded individual). It is sturdy and not flimsy. It is nice to have the back on it compared to the other one I had before as it let's me shower longer being able to sit back. I am also able to relax as it also feels safer knowing I am not going to tumble backwards and does not feel like it is going to tumble like the old one I had. Overall I feel this is well worth the money.

I ordered this for my mom. I try to keep her independent as possible. She cannot stand for long periods of time. The chair allows her to sit at the sink and wash up without relying or waiting for me to set a wash basin in her room. It’s heavy and sturdy, and has adjustable legs z. I knocked off one star because the first one Amazon sent had a bad leg and I had to send it back.Pros: Sturdy. Washable plastic. No tools required. No metal to rust. Adjustable height. Good size for small spaces.Cons: Issues with legs not adjusting. May need to purchase more than once to get a functional chair.

I’ve had a previous model from the same company for many years. We just put in a new shower in a different bathroom so this one is for that bathroom.I like that it’s fairly lightweight, but sturdy, doesn’t slide around, easy to keep clean, it’s wider than the previous model, and you can use it with or without the back piece or arm pieces. We Don’t use the arm pieces, but we do use the Back piece to hang A towel over to dry. Also, the legs are Simple to Adjust in height.Compared to others out there, this one can hold much more weight, and the top has drainage holes but is textured to resist any sliding off it.This is the brand/model that I suggest to senior Friends and those with mobility issues

Fits my tub with round corners perfectly its very sturdy and wide

This is a sturdy shower chair and fit my 19 inch tub! Has cups at the bottom of each leg to keep it in place. Place it in a dry tub or they won’t work.! I weigh 220 and it has a wide seat. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who weighs more than 250 however as the arms may dig in. I wish I had bought this chair many years ago to help me recover from knee surgery and foot surgery.!
