Dangerous (favorite) toy
Don't buy this unless you're prepared to be hounded through the night, your sleep, and every waking hour by obsessed kitties determined to play. I dread the sound of the stick dragging along the floor, the cry of my tortie muffled by the neon green worm in her mouth. This toy has consumed my life. Beware.(But no really, this is easily the favorite toy at our house. The stick breaks up into two pieces so I can give one of the kitties half if they catch their prey. It ends up in all corners of the house, but it always shows up at playtime. Get this toy if you love your cats more than your peace.)

❤️🐾 Excellent cat toy! Four cats, ages 4 months to 15 years, all love it! They give this their highest recommendation! 🐾❤️
🙀 WARNING: Before I start, I must warn you about this toy. IT IS ADDICTIVE! Not only do the cats love it, but we humans love it, too! My daughter asked us to care for her cats while she was on vacation, so of course, I had to get them new toys. I started, oh so innocently, with this one simple toy. Then when the cats made it clear that the wormy was their favorite, I had to get extra wormy refills. Now my other daughter is visiting with her cats... so you know what that meant... I absolutely HAD to buy this toy again! Then I found this same toy with the wand and five wormies. I just ordered it, too! 😹Pros:❤️ Absolute favorite toy for 4 different cats (2 daughters with 2 cats each – the cats range from 4 months to 15 years old)❤️ Wand is great length and bends a little which gives it a more natural play action than the wands made out of wood❤️ I also love the cushion on the end of the wand – it's comfortable to hold, and I can put it between the sofa cushions without tearing the leather❤️ Another positive about the wand – it does not come apart while playing with it, but it's still easy to twist apart when you want to put it away❤️ Love the hook for switching toys and replacing worn out wormy toy; plus, the cats sometimes like playing with the toys without the wandCons:💔 None of the cats really cared much for the feathered toys (but the wormy toy made up for that)💔 The wormy toy begins to shred over time, especially considering how much the cats actually play with it💔 The wormy toy can also get lost when you take it off the wand because the cats take it everywhere (in their special quiet hiding place, in the kitty only space behind the furniture, and even in their food bowl)*Hint* If your cat walks off with the wormy toy, it can easily be found using a black light – they're fluorescent! The way I ended up getting this cat toy was when my daughter asked me to care for my grand-kitties (her cats) while she was on vacation. When she came back, she expected to move to a brand new dorm complex, but the construction was running behind and then hurricane Harvey decided to pay us a visit, delaying things even more. So the original 10 days turned into 2-3 months. Even though the cats were already spoiled with a large number of toys, I just HAD to get them new cat toys! I bought many different toys, including this one. Of all the toys (old and new), THIS toy was definitely the best loved of all! When my daughter and her cats moved to her new dorm, the original cat toy and wormy refills went with her. Then my other daughter and her 2 cats came to stay with us for awhile. Yeah, you know what I did... I bought this toy again! And guess what, her cats LOVE it, too!So which cats might like this toy? Probably most cats of all types and ages. Here's the cats we know love it:😽 4 month old Tonkinese kitten went nuts over this toy. He loved it when we played fast and jerky with the worm. Whenever he could get into the refills, he would put them all over the house. I swear, he was hiding them for safe keeping.😽 7 year old tuxedo cat that adopted us as a kitten (I call him "Mr. Professor" because he watches things very intensely to see how things work) so he likes more of a slow, creeping motion around a box – except when he leaps over the box to catch the worm!😽 1 year old tabby kitty adopted from the pound as a young kitten (the most gentle giant ever); he loves to play gently with wormy, doing that cute pawing motion cats do. But he'll also run around in circles and chase you through the house if you're willing to get a workout with him.😽 Small 6 pound, 15 year old Burmese cat that's a bit neurotic... she likes to creep up on you, hoping to get on your lap (or laptop!) without you even realizing it. She is amazingly spry when playing with this toy – running and jumping to catch the wormy! Nothing else gets her to play so actively as this toy. She also comes running whenever she hears the bell! Each cat has their own personality (of course) which tends to determine which toys they like best. To have all four cats love this toy is amazing. All four cats give their very highest recommendation! 😻😻😻😻😻

Mostly Fine
The wand with wormy is a cat favorite. I have a number of these in different places in the house and RV. I like the way this clip works compared to some others I have. The two things that were less desirable compared to others is the wand is in two pieces that are not secured (unlike the extendable wands) and the string is too heavy, short and thick to really play the way we like to.

Cats love this
My kittens love this. Even my older cat plays-and she NEVER plays. It is a strong wand, but the two pieces aren't fastened together so will sometimes slip apart during play time. Easy to put back together though, could probably tape together to prevent. I'm very happy the kittens are happy, and it's fun to watch them chase and hunt-very glad I bought it!

Durable, Classic
Pictured: Worm after being dragged through the cat door and onto the catio because how dare we exclude him from family porch time.I've had this for a while now. It's dependable and durable despite all we put it through. The fact that it comes apart in the middle is a highlight since I sometimes tuck the handle into the couch cushions to leave the worm hanging, and the cats occasionally want to drag it around the house. So whenever the stick is trapped, they can pull it apart at the middle and trot off. Still, it takes a lot of force to do that, and it never comes apart while swinging it around. It does make it feel safer, too, since it'll pop apart before putting a dangerous pressure on their claw it they get stuck. So I'm very happy with the design. It can bend quite a bit, but it's as durable as a fishing rod in that regard. We've had no issues with cracks in the plastic or anything like that. I think the rod itself might outlast the string at the rate it's going, and I'm absolutely fine with that.I've bought a bag of worm replacements since they die easily, but I've found that tying a little knot at the end of the worm tail helps keep it from shedding too fast. The Worm is a house favorite and a solid investment of a cat toy.

Cat loves it!
I put 3 (worms) on at a time and whip it around the living room to give my cat exercise. Like the little bell too.

Cat loves but broke After a month
My cat loves all the attachments but after one month of use the "metal" clip broke! Also, although the idea of changing attachments is great, it means there's a lot of the "metal" which isn't great for biting.

Fun toy for cats
My cats love this toy. They chase it and jump at it. When I am being lazy I can sit in my chair and play with them or they'll chase it around the house. Great purchase.

Favourite toy
This is my kitten's favourite toy by far. He loves chasing the worm around. It moves in a realistic way. I love that the stick is long so I can play from one spot, and that it can be stored easily as it splits in two. The toy is strong - my kitten pretty much hangs off the end and it hasn't come apart at all. Great toy!

My Cats really like them at first but got bored of them fast. They are older cats.
Would be great for younger cats, especially kittens.
