My mirror recently broke but I got a lot of use out of it. I will say the hinges become delicate and start to fall apart from being opened. The mirror is light weight. The rods used to hang it from the door did occasionally get stuck. The mirror is also hard to level because of the rods.My mirror did not have any lights on but as I look into replacing my broken mirror I’ll probably invest in one with lights so it’s easier to use.

This mirror is awesome. I've always wanted to try cutting my own hair as it is getting more and more expensive and I felt like it's not that difficult to maintain my style of hair. I'm glad I decided to pull the trigger and buy this mirror as it is exactly what I needed to make my hair cutting dreams a reality. As other reviews mention, it doesn't give you a perfect view of the back of your head but it's enough to get most of one side and then you can flip your view to the opposite mirror to get the back of your other side (if that makes any sense). With this mirror, I'm able to give myself a pretty decent fade and also trim the top and back of my hair exactly the way I like it. The beauty of cutting my own hair is if I accidentally missed a spot or want to make any changes, I can do so easily in the comfort of my own home or garage. The height adjustment is also a very nice feature as certain doors may be taller than others. Get this mirror and enjoy the benefits of cutting your own hair!

I bought this product sometime in March of 2022, and I just saw that it had broken:( It hasn’t even been a full year😭☹️I used this a lot since I braid my own hair. This material just felt cheap when I bought it and not strong, I will definitely need to buy one that’s made with better material/ stronger bc I CANNOT braid without this type of mirror lol

For years (and I mean, YEARS), my honey had mentioned that it was really quite something to her that, while she was most happy when I kept my hair short, it was a bit 'irritating' (to say the least) when I would walk past her, and she'd notice the rough Wolverine-like edges that I had missed in the back (with big puffy uneven locks, and frighteningly crooked lines). Her biggest fear was that she would never want me to leave the house like that. I mentioned a child-hood friend who (similarly) would pay very-close attention to what people would see, as he came towards them, but once he went past (OMG), it was a real car-crash. So, long story short, while the Mrs. was out of town, I ordered this item, took all the time I needed to coiffe my hair, hoping to surprise her upon return. Well, she sure was happy to see me and even more so when I actually took the time to find a quality product that was as good as a real-barber with real eyes on the back of my head. Love this thing and I know it will pay happy-marriage dividends for years to come (yah buddy !)
