Must read.....
I was captivated into Nas and Vik's story from the very first line"C'mon. Don't walk away from me,....."to the last word of the epilogue "incredible."Nas loves Vik but he won't give her his heart, so she breaks up with him, except he's everywhere because of her brothers being his friend.Want to know why she broke up with him?Do they gave a HEA?You've got to read this fantastic story.Once I was captivated into the story I didn't want to put it down. Loved the storyline, characters and secondary characters were well developed, and absolutely loved the different POV's. The book was a wild ride showing all emotions of family, friendships, betrayal, love, sadness, happiness, raw & angst.Quote: “More than a decade together and you think I’m just gonna let you go on your merry way because you’re having doubts? Not a chance.”

Family
Um.Wow.So, first of all, Lev is one of my top favorite stories. I reread it a lot! Not only for Lev & Mina, but because this family touches my heart in every reread. I wanted to read all their stories - but they didn't exist. When I saw Vik... I might have had a happy out of body moment of joy... 😉Vik & Nastasia have a huuuuge communication issue. She thinks his heart is locked away, he thinks she doesn't love him, but he'll do everything he can to be there for her anyway. There are some heartbreaking things going on in this story, and tears were shed! There's also a lot of humor, some fantastic POVs from others that I loved getting a glimpse from, and the same awesome look into this family that I loved in Lev. Some bits are darker, we get hints at secrets & things to come... All of which made me excited for whichever couple is getting a story next, because I know it's going to be emotional and brilliant!I also enjoyed seeing the friendship and family dynamic between Nastasia, Anika, Cora, & Mina. The way they support each other, root for each other, love each other. 💜I just want to give everyone in this family a hug!!!😍

Loved it!
We waited SIX years for this book and IT.WAS.WORTH.THE.WAIT! I absolutely loved this book, so many emotions. Nas is a character I will never forget and live rent free in my head forever, she was funny, badass, loyal and loving. She had her own struggles that she was able to overcome. Vik’s was all alpha all the time when it came to Nas, yet she didn’t see his love for her. I may or may not have cried in bathroom at work because some moments were just heartbreaking. I loved reading about all the other characters, It had lots of great moments. I did want to choke a few other characters...LOL. Lev is one of my top five favorite books, it’s no surprise Belle wrote another book that will stay with me for a very long time. That epilogue 😍.#foreverandalways #nasandik #epilogue

Another brilliant Belle Aurora book!
I have been anticipating the release of the second book in this series since reading LEV and I was not disappointed!Belle Aurora has an talent for creative addictive storylines, with beautifully flawed characters that instantly draw me in.Her author voice is unique and definitely well suited to this type of high-paced, intense, darker sub genre of romance.Although this book can be read as a standalone, I do recommend reading LEV—book one in the Shit Callers series—first, just to give you a deeper understanding of all the characters featured in this novel. This is a fantastic book. Highly recommend!

Amazing
I am not in the habit of leaving reviews but I had to for this one. I absolutely loved this book and I cannot recommend it enough it! Belle Aurora can tell a beautiful well written story that has you falling in love with the female lead and the sexy possessive men that drive them crazy in life and in the bedroom. Definitely worth reading. #foreverandalwaysI can not wait for Sasha’s and Anika’s story. 2022 feels sooooooo far away.

Can't wait for more books by the author in the near future!
"More than a decade together and you think I’m just gonna let you go on your merry way because you’re having doubts? Not a chance.”So, i loved Belle Aurora's writing since I read "Raw" and she sure as hel did not disappoint me with this new book in the Shot callers series. This is a brother's best friend, childhood friends to lovers and second chance romance. It was absolutely gritty, intense and engaging. While I loved everything else about the book, it contained one trope that I don't like at all- miscommunication."I loved this man. I loved him in a way no other could replicate. But unless he was willing to give me all of him, I couldn’t do this. I deserved more."Nastasia Leokov was in love with her brother's bestfriend and soldier, Viktor Nikulin since what it seemed to be forever. This book starts from when Vik & Nas are on a break since Nas thinks that Vik is hiding something from her and doesn't want to give her his heart. While Vik on the other hand, doesn't understand where he went wrong and just wants her to make up her mind, since staying away from each other for just two months straight was making both of them so miserable.“Do you?”“Do I what?”“Do you belong to me?”“Forever and always. There could only be forever with Vik. ”I seriously loved Vik. He was such a good boyfriend who always put Nas first, looked after her, was willing to play the push and pull game with her even if it was hurting him, thought that he didn't deserve her and dealt with the jealousy fits she throwed at him. But as much as I loved him, I'm not gonna lie, he had the tendency to keep his problems to himself and their breakup was his fault just as much as it was Nastasia's for jumping into conclusions quickly without talking their heart out to each other. I'm not saying that Nas was completely a lost cause, she had her moments but most of the time she really tested my patience. She thought that Vik was closed off and secretive but in reality, she was a bigger commitment phobe. She was a great friend, sister and aunt and at times a supportive girlfriend but her constant conflicting thoughts made it hard for me to connect with her."She had to love me. Because when Nastasia loved, she gave it all, and if she didn’t love me any longer, that was it. Any chance of happiness was gone."Overall, the book was well written. I have no qualms about the plot but the pace at which everything came to light was a bit slow for my liking. The side characters were so intriguing especially Alessio, Cora, Roam & Anika. I loved Nas & Lev together no matter how stubborn they might be because in the end, they were just the right match who were always meant to be together. The book was light on emotions, it made me laugh, fell sad with all the angst and kept me entertained. Also, I'm so damn excited for Sasha's book, I hope it comes out soon. That sums up the way I feel about it for now.

3.5 stars
It seems an age since we have had a story from Ms Aurora (no shade here, I have just missed reading her stories) and Vik was a great way to get back to it.It has been a hot while since Lev, so I am not ashamed to say that i don't remember much other than I loved Lev back then, and i adored Vik and Nastasia here. Well, most of the time, the rest of the time they frustrated the heck out of me.There's is a difficult relationship, and not always an easy read. I mean, JFC people. This pair, as much as they say they love each other, they are sure as sh!t pretty toxic to each other. There is a fine line between love and hate, and this pair cross that line a heck of a lot.And Nas, Nas, Nas - stop the blame game girl, cos you are throwing that shade in the wrong direction. i got a bit tired of her blaming Vik for everything when she was the one who walked away. And FFS people - communicate. All these years you have known each other, and all this stupid sniping and blaming and you can't have a decent, adult, sensible conversation. That, more than anything else, gave me the irrits!I did also find that there was so much back and forward between Vik and Nas that it did feel to me that it dragged along.I enjoyed seeing more of Lev and Mina - Mina's cooking exploits had me cracking up more than once. There is also a character who I am sure that we are supposed to hate, but I couldn't. There was something about Roam that called to me! I hope we see more of him in the future.
